Yep, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! That was going through my mind while writing it too hah. I know it's probably a bit cringey, but it was my first time writing something like this so please forgive me! Thanks!!!!

Hey guys! Here's an excrutiatingly, horribly, devastatingly short update! I'm sorry but I've just had an incredibly hectic week, I was barely able to log in! Although I did start a new TS, but the next part of that one will also take some time. And I really needed some time to thoroughly think about how I'm going to direct this story, because I don't want this one to end up like The Heart and The Mind! I'm really really sorry about this! I just you you guys understand...

ANYWAY, just read the damn chappy.

Chapter 16: Lying Eyes Can't See Love

"Asad!! Let me go, I haven't even had breakfast 'cause of you!" Zoya laughed and tried pushing at his chest. She was dressed up and ready for office, but Asad was only wearing his trousers. His arms were like steel bands around her waist. "You know we both have to get to work!"

"Yeah but I can't go without my shirt!" Asad said smugly and pressed her closer to his bare chest.

"Then GET ONE!" Zoya retorted and finally freed herself from him. "I need to go Asad!" She said seriously and headed towards the main door.

"Okay, okay fine!" Asad said holding his hands up in defeat. He finally picked a plain white shirt and wore it over his shoulders, conveniently not buttoning it up. He walked towards Zoya and gently pulled her closer to him by her waist. "Meet me tonight?"

Zoya blushed a light shade of pink and lowered her lashes, smiling shyly. "O-okay." She said softly. Asad loved it when she was shy! He decided to have some more fun.

"Can you please button me up?" Asad smirked at her, Zoya gritted her teeth dangerously and glared at him, huffing.

"Fine! But this is the last time I'm gonna help you with something like this. Who knew 'The AAK' was so childish..." Zoya said and quickly buttoned up his shirt. Asad didn't even realise it.

"Wait, done?!" He asked flabbergasted. Zoya bobbed a brow at him victoriously. "Well in that case..." Asad smiled mischievously, "Help me with my tie." He said thrusting the tie into Zoya's hands. Zoya rolled her eyes and helped him with the tie, and when she was done, she held him by it.

"Now look who's holding me back." Asad said amusedly. Zoya just smiled. "I think-" Asad started but was interrupted by his phone ringing. Zoya still held him seductively by his tie. Seeing who it was on the call, Asad looked at her apologetically, indicating that it was important. Zoya rolled her eyes and let him go. Asad went into the corner of the room while Zoya went out.

"What is it?...Yeah, it's done. Look, don't tell me what to do, okay? I know what I'm doing and you will get what you want." Asad cut the call and followed Zoya to the living room. She was slinging her backpack over her shoulder. " Umm, Zoya..."

"Yeah?"

"I told you that I...uh...want to be with you. But, what about you?" Asad asked.

Zoya froze. Her mind whizzed with thoughts. He looked serious, but a seedling of doubt was planted in her head since the day she first met him.

He's a certified playboy, right?

But he's been so sweet to you lately, does he play that trick on everyone?

God, I feel like such a sl*t! He asked me if I regretted it, but I didn't, and I'm supposed to! Because now I don't know what to do.

But look at his eyes, his longing, expressive, brown eyes. They seem to tell me something different.

But there's something else...

Before she knew it, tears were making their treacherous way down her cheeks. She looked at him and went closer to him to lovingly stroke his jaw. "I...I think I need some time. W-what happened last night was s-sudden. Both of us couldn't hold back! One kiss made me want more and...I don't know! I ..I still feel somewhere that you're your own Casanova self! I-I'm sorry but..." Zoya trailed off shaking her head. Asad clenched his jaw underneath her fingers.

"I asked you if you were sure." He gritted out. Zoya took a step back, hearing his unnerving tone.

"I was! Last night was amazing, it was magical! But I'm still not sure if I trust you."

There. I said it.

"Fine." Asad bit out sourly and went back to his room. Zoya wiped her wet cheeks and stepped out the door.

"You have no option, if you want to see your company and your family standing."

"I had brought her to you, that night in the park. Why didn't you just-"

"You're certainly not as smart as your reputation suggests."

"Just get to the point, I'm not here for trash talk. I have other important things to do."

"If you would've let us take her, she wouldn't have trusted you. We needed her to trust you. And now she does, so let her fall as deep as she is willing to."

"You want me to break her heart?"

"We want you to break her."

"You are the most disgusting man I've ever met."

"Heard that one before. Listen, what we need from you, is Zoya. What we need from Zoya, is none of your business. So just do what we tell you to, or kiss your family and lost sister goodbye."

All I can say is, don't hate me! Or kill me!

OKAY SO I GOT MY OLD ACCOUNT BACKKKK!!!!!! Lol I'm soooo relieved!!!!! I got all my drafts back and all my buddies back and my pm list is working again!!!! SO in case yall were worried why my Stan-Stan account suddenly started showing as 'inactive', it's because I will no longer be using that account! So it's back on track!!! I will update all of my stories sooooon!!!!!
