Here is the thing. Hum dono k aapsi samjhote ke saath it is what he meant. Because using the word 'compromise' in the the context of 'intimacy' is weird. And as he was drunk and he initiated it, it means it was always something he wanted to do.(ITV context mein) Like when Meety was drunk, she said things that was in her heart. She talked about the pressure she is facing from Babs, but then she hugged him. This means she wanted to hug him, but kiss Karne ka irada nahi tha. Yaha I don't know what's happening... because I also feel this kind of intimacy is early in their relationship. Ab dekhta hain kaisa dikhata hain

Okay I get what you are saying but I don't think love is any kind of necessity for intimacy.
According to meetA they are going to be married for lifetime and she is suitable life partner so initimacy was never out of question but i don't think till now he feels romantic kinda love for her,he loves her as a friend and rest his relation with her is of marriage so love dekho as a viewer you feel that but he is very vocal about his feelings when he loved Manushi he never hid that but till now his monologues even precap's dialogues omit this particular emotion or word from his side.
So to me, intimacy is a part of relationship according to him,not a sign of love.
And also I always felt meetH love realization very sudden however it still makes sense but till now I've only watches only bits and pieces the way he acts with MeetH is very friendly,I am sorry but I don't find his gestures as someone who is in love.
So according to all this his sentence in precap makes sense.
And also I don't think he had any problem with any kind of intimacy but I am again saying he takes intimacy in their relationship as a step not sign of love as normal arranged couple.
I don't think every couple who had arrange marriage in this world love each other but they get intimate and also have care and concern and attatchment with each other or mostly become habitual of each other,so this relationship is like that arranged match from meetA's side where his wife is best friend of his,he is attatched to her cares for her and one day they also become normal husband and wife.
I think people confuses all these emotions with each other but they are distinct and different,it sees in body language of a person.
Love send person into ziffy,makes lightheaded and its not filmy people in love feels all this butterflies in stomach,unbound happiness due to release of harmone oxytocin and dopamine but regarding all those care,concern,attatchment doesn't make a person feel like this for other one.
SoI have not watched the show but you did so you can yourself judge better than me ki what meetA feels for meetH is love or more of concern,care and attatchment to his best friend wife becoz obviously his monologues and dialogues doesn't gave any hint about love from his side so only actions are there to judge.
And lastly its a show and it is bound to have love story of meets so whether it makes sense or not they will have a love story, sorry I don't find it any kind a unique show its like typical itv serial only so yeah having love story is not out of question.
