I think in Sonu, Sunidhi, Shreya case sometimes they do these kind of guest appearance due to some friendship.Shreya's performance in Bengali show also had Shantanu moitra who is one of her closest friend so he probably invited her. Sonu in Indian idol had Anu Malik who he is close to. Sunidhi in Sa re ga ma finale 2018(?) and another show had Shekhar Ravjiani another close friend as judge. The TCT doesn't have much pull for now atleast😵

Shantanu certainly is the right person to invite her. But she also combined professional commitments in Bengal when she came for the show. My take is that those who run Zee Bangla have long time connections with some top singers and have the ability to reach out to them. No Zee Bangla finale is ever wanting for star quality in the judge's bench for the Finale.
I feel Channels can bring in the top stars if they are directly involved. Like you said, leaving it to TCT creates the gaps that we notice.
