It's immoral and wrong in it's own right.

And it really isn't a competition about who is "more" flawed

The 'you' was in general, not you in particular. Anyway, I replied to your comment because you said that people were giving a free pass to Tia. So I said that what Tia did is not that wrong when you see it from her perspective.

It’s not Alisha’s fault her mom and Tia’s dad had an affair. She was just a child and actually suffered through the trauma of seeing her mother commit suicide. That damages a person especially since her father never helped her heal.

And if Tia is okay mingling and letting her bestie be a boyfriend with her father’s illegitimate child then she should be okay with giving her rightful rights to her.

BTW, Alisha’s mom is such a selfish ass and easily the worst character of the movie. First she goes and has an affair with her husband’s brother destroying the very fabric of the entire family and then she goes ahead and commits a suicide right in front of her little 8 year old daughter scarring her for the rest of her life. That scene where the young Alisha was clinging on to the hanging body of her mom shook me to the core.

I felt like slapping that woman. She was a disgusting hoe who cared only about herself and her hormones. Nobody deserves a wife or mother like that biatch.

Saw the movie finally . It’s a Slowburn …

Thought the first hour was really slow … meandering but it picked up in the last 40 odd minutes .

Our actions have consequences.. esp infidelity in relationships and sometimes the innocent are the biggest victims …

I thought DP was very good and the soul of the movie . Sid is good , has a bright future … Ananya I found bland and annoying . I loved the scenes between Naseer and DP especially…

Their is a certain mood of the movie … languid , slightly dark .. which I liked . It’s how the story is written , layered characters , the cinematography and the music …

This movie isn’t as wholesome as Kapoor snd sons .. but shakun has a wonderful grasp in showing relationships , very real … you feel these could be ppl you know .. your friends …

I liked the movie but totally get why it’s getting such polarising feedback ..

And then Alisha thought she was unhappy and killed herself because of her dad and hated him all these years. If she was told the real truth she probably would have never had an affair with her step sister's fiancee. Alisha felt guilty for her actions only after knowing her mother's truth and that's when she realized she committed the same mistake her mom had done. Before that she had no regrets for what she was doing.

I watched it. i wish they spoke in Hindi. They said the F word so many times. It got annoying. Do people really speak like that? at least, I don't. I don't live in India so I wouldn't know.

Deepika looked absolutely beautiful. Her chemistry with Dhariya was better than Siddarth.

Dhariya > Siddarth.

The movie wasn't exceptional, but i would watch it again bc everyone looked great.
