having white skin > brown skin... having European looking white skin mean you're at the top of the food chain in India..

theres a reason why dark skin indians are never considered the most good looking actors in india, its always the lighter skin ones from north india.

I agree that he would have not been seen as a beauty standard in BW (and he probably would have taken a different career path to be seen as a “serious” actor or done more comedy) had he been dark skinned. All the more dark skinned actors (look at Ranveer - he was shamed for his look for so long and no one took him seriously until his SLB break) either fall into the comedy route or need to be exceptionally good and stay away from massy films. But he’d still be considered as incredibly hot and handsome by international standards (he has it all - height, athletic body, piercing/exotic eyes, sharp features). Hollywood would have loved him.
