I can see Aryan somehow helping her out of the situation but how would it get bad enough that they're forced to marry each other?

For the sake of the show, I hope that doesn't happen. As much as I want to see them married, it's a vicious handle in ITV, this forced marriage business. I'd rather have them both choose to be together 100 episodes from now than married by force in 10 eps.

Picked up few Marathi phrases from you + Hindi serial. Barely know 4-5 words. Apart from that, am proficient in Mother tongue, Hindi, and English (+ can read 2 more very poorly for University).

Tripathis can go to hell sooner than later.

See, if she ends up in a brothel, it could go two ways:

1) It will trigger Aru's overprotectiveness and cause him to confess in an angst-ridden angry way.

2) 1) will happen + she will face some sort of external, societal danger forcing Aru's hand into marriage. This isn't PD and a brothel is not a hut so...

But this premise seems too contrived anyway

Sorry for being super late to the party, it was a v long day at work :(

This episode was a LOT, obviously laying the groundwork for what's to come but before that I just want to give a bow of appreciation to SK and FK. Both ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT. Fahmaan's expressions when Imlie was joking- from him swallowing in his hurt, to his nostrils flaring in pain to his eyebrow twitching. UN BELIEVABLE. You could see a man trying to hold in every bit of control before letting it all out. Even the moment Imlie said, your goal is something "greater" then this, the moment of realization, taking steps back mentally from his feelings for her- it was so clear even without him saying anything.

SK is just amazing as well. She's able to show Imlie as a carefree, single minded person. Maybe it's her youth or her passion but she can only fixate on what's infront of her, not the bigger picture. She isn't able to read into nuances and motives/ intentions. It's odd she picked up on ASR being meant for something "more" because it took her a while to catch up that Mall was playing games all along.

I am not team Imlie breaking Aru's heart but the groundwork seems to be laid very well for it to happen...because she has absolutely zero realization that he has feelings or affection for her. She can't see that the person she assumes is unfeeling has gone above and beyond to show his feelings by caring for her when no one from her so called "family" has ever stood in her corner with so much zeal or passion. No one has come to her defence or stood by her side the way Aru has.

I wish Arpi was there to set the record straight for Imlie, because if there's one thing the Rathore's know how to do that the T's don't is...stand up for what's right.

The hair scene was nice but rushed to be honest, I would have liked something a bit more substantive but I feel they're going to give us little sprinkles of jaaniya each episode to keep our addicted asses in the seats. You know, a hit a day keeps the craving going lmao.

As an aside: I just find it so disgusting that the T's let Adi just say whatever. They see Malani egging him on to. Also for the love of god...can we get some expressions up in here? it was a bit painful like...are you mad? hungry? constipated? I can't tell.

Happy that Imlie will continue to have her hair open, maybe it will get tangled in Aryan's button tmrw because we need something homies lol.
