Here I see what you are saying! However, there is something called professionalism?
Shaheer didn't make reels or give interviews with Rhea during YRHPK but until lockdown happened, people.loved MishBir. Why? Kyunki on screen Abir LOVED Mishti. No one could begrudge Shaheer the fact that he wasn't Abir. No one can say that when Abir said "jaise Kanha adhure bina Radha Rani,- waise tumhare bina adhuri meri kahaani" or when Abir said "paigam ishq woh naam ishq mera zeher ishq mera jaam ishq" that he wasn't saying it to Mishti. When Abir hugged Mishti at least it was Abir hugging Mishti and not Shaheer thinking that Ruchika would be pissed if he hugged Rhea.
Can we say the same thing about the ML and FL in cockroach? The offscreen behaviour soon translated to on screen.
You don't want to make reels, fine.
At least promote your jodi. At least give interviews about the show and the characters at that moment. At least be professional. At least don't bring the PL and ML's on screen non existent jodi into everything.
At least act properly. Show that your onscreen character cares about his on screen wife. Do it properly and do it well.
Disclaimer: I could care less what happens because I haven't watched number 3 show since Anuj Kapadia came to number 1 show, then our hero entered our show but the shoddy acting, direction, characters, cinematography, editing all just got to me.
At work also, one is expected to always be cordial with everyone. One might not like one's team but in front of clients one has to put up a professional front or else the client thinks "this team isn't getting along, sensing cold vibes here. Don't think I will be able to work with this hostility".
I personally wouldn't want to work in a hostile environment and if it meant being happy whilst waiting for the right opportunity in the specialty I am in then give me the peace of mind and happiness and what brings me joy any day over the life where I have to go to work thinking "oh no, another week, why dear Lord"
What covid has taught me is that it's all about being in a good, positive atmosphere and not around hostility or negativity. Tomorrow isn't promised; not in life or in love. I want to be happy. So yes, leave me in the speciality I am in now where I have to perhaps spend a few years struggling and working harder to get to the top vs going to a speciality where I might be at the top but the people are shirty and unfriendly and don't treat others well.
You gave an office example and I gave a work example too.
I m not defending anyone....I don't like the show or the FD..find everything around it toxic but I am just saying why I stopped watching and switched to Anupama and then YRKKH.
I can't watch a show or fangirl over someone who doesn't care about the time I give their show. I can't be asked who the hell I am. Especially considering I have a plethora of choices Netflix, HBO, Apple TV, Prime, Disney Plus and here I am wasting time on a poorly made show and a horribly acted out jodi where the PL asks me who the hell am I? Nope. BYE. BYE. They might be tv stars but I am not a random nibbi on twitter wasting my time.
This is why I love Bigg Boss you know, it shows me the asliyaat of many many people and stops me from wasting my time over the rubbish they star in. I ain't appreciating people who don't appreciate my time. I ain't some random velli homegirl cooking vegetables and watching shows. My world is rather different. Not that there is anything wrong with being a homegirl but it's the example Eijaz Khan and Karan Tacker gave about not doing TV anymore.
Someone tell them no one wants to watch them; if I want to watch online content, I have lots of English language TV to watch. Anyways....
How this became about me, I have no idea😆Guess I was telling you my POV ?
Yeah I totally get what you're saying.
But the onscreen execution and portrayal is bad because it's the maker's fault equally. It's not a love story like YRHPK. It's a family drama, and I think the ML and PL's relationship is being brought into it by fans because they want to see ML and FL together offscreen! I don't think we can comment about their professionalism especially during these covid times, just because someone doesn't give fun-filled interviews with their costar. Their job is acting. Not to be friendly with costars after the scenes are shot.
Some production houses specifically ask actors to post on social media to promote the onscreen jodi. Actors are professionals and they do this promotion as it's part of their job. Some production houses don't have this requirement. The ML doesn't do online promotion of the onscreen jodi. So it's clear that doing interviews or promotions is not a part of his job, as per the requirements of the makers.
They are working cordially on sets, respecting each other and putting up a professional front in front of the camera for their scenes, so I think that answers the question about being professional in front of clients. What they do off camera is like what people do after office ends. After 5 pm, people are free to do what they like. Same here after their scenes.
And the onscreen vibe between Virat and Sai is bad because the writing and direction are just worst in that show. I'm surprised the makers even got approval to air their show on prime time TV, that too on Star Plus. Their show's quality is bad in every aspect. Of course I'm not saying that the acting is Oscar worthy or anything. Just that actors are abused only because fans aren't able to accept that ML is not friends with FL. They want to see ML and FL together in real life and since it's not happening, all the hate and abuse for ML and all the praise for FL's non-acting.
