You know what's dumb? Ignoring histories where whole populations of women have been subjugated for DECADES, if not centuries, into wearing the burkha/hijab. Cold, hard documentation which supports this fact.

It's downright IMBECILIC to compare it with the turban or bikini. Ffs, nobody is beaten and flogged for not wearing a bikini or turban. Nobody got raped or stoned because they refused to wear a bikini.

As for your argument, it deserves no response at all, since it's a troll question. 😆

And yes there is no ban on turbans in France. You can have private institutions banning religious symbols and that is their prerogative.

Ok I'm french. You're completely wrong.

First of all, the ban concerns all religions so turban is definitely banned in school just like hijabs, kippas or a cross. No one get a pass be it Christians, Jews, Sikhs or Muslims. You're under the obligation to remove any religious sign before entering the school.

Secondly, this concerns only schools not university of college. You're free to dress the way you want at uni.

In this forum people do not understand Muslims at all or even know the proper history how the fractions were made. There are 72 fractions of Shia and Sunni together. Whoever said hijab or in other words parda is not mandatory do not know anything, it is a must but some women follow some dont and yes some have no choice but to wear. Parda is also for men their starts from chest to knees and also to cover their heads.

In some fractions women do not cover their faces but head cover is a must and also rest of the body. All depends on from which fractions the women belong to.

So do not club all the Muslims together in one bracket, some exploited and made sure that women do not know they have been given rights in Islam.

This is the irony....that people from other religions claiming that they know Islam better than those who are practicing it.....its like a Muslim or a Christian telling me how should I be fasting during Navratri or do the Shiv pooja on Mondays....😆

It is very good that you are a French, but before you run wild in your imagination understand the context here.

Schools and private institutions are an understood cases of religious symbol ban, because they have UNIFORMS.

But the same is not understood fact for India yet. The controversy is about a SCHOOL banning hijab and other religious symbols.

This is a manufactured OUTRAGE and happy to see so many contributing their bit to it.

The fraction here is the one who was not wearing Hijab until 2021 December. Was there some sort of Awakening that suddenly those school going girls became part of the one mandatorily wearing Hijab?

Is Hijab banned from this one particular school in Karnataka or from the entire India? Did the Indian Government make a ruling against wearing the Hijabs or was it done by this particular school? I am trying to understand the problem here as to why so many big celebrities are getting involved with even various countries being dragged into the mix. 😕
