There are many governments who have banned burkhas in their countries. India is not among them, so take it easy.
Schools have uniform for a reason. People can go to schools which allows all religious symbols, no one will stop them.
India may not have but this is most definitely setting a precedent since this is a state-run educational institution we are talking about, unless you expect that things happen in their own bubble, in a lala land.
We are talking about the hijab. A burqa would understandably be banned for security reasons in some public areas in other countries. As for the hijab (the topic under discussion), the only prominent ban in recent memory to have banned it is France and the French state is a veeeeery different beast from India.
The French state recognises NO state- which in fact would mean no hijab, no head covering and YES no turban.

So tell me again what is so wild about the parallel Sonam is drawing?
