I used to read when I was pretty young, one of my relatives in India had a large bookshelf of them and since I didn’t understand grownup talk she said I used to go through that shelf instead 🤣

I probably would’ve read Harry Potter if I picked up the first book instead of the second 🤣

My first english book was i think chetan bhagat or may be case study by sherlock chota vala. Then i bought HG wells ka war of the worlds and it was too difficult language for me at the time. Reminds me of when I tried reading some comic books but I couldn’t read hindi so I was dechipering the plot from the pictures 🤣 then the train stations had English translations of them so I begged my cousin to buy me some, still have them today
