Even I feel that spending time with his wife is not the only reason.. I posted that on EDT also. May be he wants to focus on modelling career. Lets see if they replace him or kill Dev in the show. May be that is why they are bringing Sagar for Rishita

I think they won't kill Dev, that's too extreme for PS

Yep.
plus 2 months is a long notice period. usually it is 2 weeks/ max a month.

Dev going, family in trauma: Shiva becomes serious: takes charge: can bring trp! Perhaps.

Or Rishita turns away with Sagar, leaving dev in trauma of dhoka, he ends up going far far away from Somnath!

Curious what creatives will come up with!

No matter what, Won’t mind if Akshay reconsiders & stay back. Replacements always create dent in the shows.
