I am back with another chapter. Thought I will finally try some ShiVi lollipop, I don’t know if I wanna call it a lollipop, exactly. Do ignore my mistakes, haven’t had the time to proofread.

Chapter 5

She looks up to see Shiva, looking back into her eyes, while holding her hand gently. Shiva realized how much he had missed waking up to that face everyday. For a second, they are lost in each other’s eyes, but then Raavi snaps back to reality and tries to take back her hand out of his. But he holds it firmly, refusing to let go, staring away at her.

"Shiva mera haath chod" resists Raavi trying to get her hands away.

"Nahi chodunga" says Shiva firmly.

"Maine kahan chod" she resists back, glaring back at him looking like an angry kitten.

"Kaha na nahi chodunga, naa aaj chodunga, naa kabhi bhi chodunga" he replied looking straight back into her eyes with so much "haq".

"Tune hi toh kaha tha na uss din, ki tujhe meri har baat manzoor hai, toh haath chod mera aur chala jaa yahan se" said Raavi stubbornly with her face turned away from him.

"Haan maine kaha tha ki mujhe teri har baat manzoor hai, pann maine yeh bhi kahan tha ki main teri khushi ke liye kuch bhi karoonga, ab tujhe takleef mein dekh ke, bina iss pe dawai lagai main kahin nahi jaaonga, naa hi tujhe jaane doonga, iss liye zyaada nautanki mat kar, aur chup chaap baith yahan" Shiva said adamantly while pulling her towards a bench near a medical shop.

He walks to the store asking for some bandages and medicine and comes back. He’s about to dab a cotton to clean her wound, when she snatches it from his hand, saying "Main khud hi kar loongi"

Shiva looks at her and waits watching her casually with his eyebrows raised, as if he knows she won’t be able to.

She closes her eyes and tries to slowly dab her wound with the cotton and screams "aaah" as it makes contact. Shiva worriedly takes her hand and starts blowing air trying to reduce the burning sensation, while she looks on at him.

"Aye gadhedi, kya kar rahi hai tu, jab khud se hota nahi hai, toh kyun hero banna chahti hai, akkal ki dushman, yeh de mujhe" snatching the cotton back from her, annoyed and worried at the same time.

She still refuses to budge and continues to look away from him, her face turned to the other side, he takes a deep breath and releases it and tries to explain calmly,

"Dekh chipkali, chup chaap mujhe karne ke de, main aaram se karoonga, tujhe dard bhi nahi hoga, main uske baad yahan se chala bhi jaaonga, kyun faaltu mein meri wajah se khud ko takleef de rahi hai" holding out his hand at her looking into her eyes with utmost sincerity.

She turns to him and after thinking for a second and realizes there’s no point in arguing with this stubborn Bhootnath, so she offers her hand over to him.

Before he even dabs it over her wound, as a reflex she holds on to his biceps closing her eyes in anticipation of pain, while he looks on amused at her, thinking "Meri Phoolkumari".

He gently cleans her wound being extremely careful and bandages it. He looks at her maintaining the same position even after he’s done and says "aankhein khol, ho gaya"

She slowly opens her eyes and quickly lets go of his biceps, realizing their position and awkwardly looks away.

She mutters a thanks to which he replies "maine tere liye nahi kiya, apne liye kiya, chot tujhe lagi, par dard mujhe ho raha tha"

Raavi stares at him in surprise, unsure if she heard it right. After a few seconds, he interrupts her smiling, "Chal ab ghur kya rahi hai, college ke liye der nahi ho rahi" and she instantly looks away, chiding herself.

She gets a ping from Krish saying "Sorry bhabhi, but mujhe class ke liye late ho gaya, aur main nikal gaya, aapka phone bhi nahi lag raha tha"

"Yeh Krish kaha marr gaya, dikh toh nahi raha" says Shiva irritatingly looking around.

"Krish chala gaya, usko class ke late ho gaya" replied Raavi nonchalantly.

"Arrey aise kaise tujhe chodke chala gaya——" stops Shiva mid sentence and curses himself for saying it.

"Uska test tha, aur aaj maine hi der kar di, main auto se chali jaaongi" getting up from there, Raavi said, almost thinking Shiva would stop her. But to her surprise, he simply nods in agreement. Although, he decides to wait over there till she catches an auto.

When she doesn’t get any auto after multiple attempts, he takes the cue and tells her he’ll drop her and he clarifies that "Main bas iss liye offer kar raha hoon kyunki tujhe late ho raha aur auto bhi nahi dikh raha, aur I promise, main tujhse raaste mein naa hi jhagda karoonga, in fact main baat bhi nahi karoonga, tension mat le" reassuring her.

After contemplating for a second, she climbs onto Shiva’s bike thinking about her important lectures and they ride away to her college. As promised, he doesn’t utter a word throughout the journey and leaving her astounded thinking "Jis ladke ko mujhse lade, jhagde bina, roti hazam nahi hoti thi, aaj mujhse promise kar raha hai ki jhagda nahi karega, jhagda toh kya yeh toh baat bhi nahi kar raha".

On reaching there, Shiva says,

"Accha sunn, Dhara Bhabhi ne tere liye unke puraane notes bheje the" handing over the notes to her he continues, "shayad tere padhai mein kaam aa jaaye, mujhe laga tu ghar pe nahi hogi aur college ke liye nikal gayi hogi, toh Hardik Bhai ke paas chod ke jaane waala tha, par ab tu mil hi gayi, toh le le, unhone yeh bhi kaha hai ki agar tujhe padhai mein koi help chahiye, toh woh ya Gaumbi teri madad kar denge, tu kabhi bhi ghar pe aake unse help le sakti" while Raavi looks at him in a dilemma, thinking how she had said she won’t come to Pandya Niwas again and as if he read her mind, he says "Tu tension mat le, main subah 9 baje se shaam ke 6 baje tak, dukaan mein rahoonga, toh tu uss time pe, kabhi bhi ghar aa sakti hai, tujhe meri shakal dekhni nahi padegi, agar tujhe uske baad bhi ghar aana hai toh mujhe message kar dena, main ghar se kahi bahar nikal jaaoonga" with a sad smile on his face.

"Ek aakhri baat, tere haath ka bandage change kar lena sham ko" tells Shiva concernedly.

While she completely ignores his advice and begins to walk away without achnowledging, he shouts "Ehh gadhedi, Agar tune nahi kiya, toh main khud Hardik Bhai ke ghar aake tera bandage change karoonga, samjhi Chipkali" challengingly.

"Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai, main kar doongi" she shouts back and sprints off to her classes.

Shiva shakes his head smiling victoriously and pleased that he still knows her well and drives away to the store.

—————————At Hardik Bhai’s house——————

Raavi is in her room humming some tune, fixing the mess in her wardrobe when she receives a text from Shiva.

Shiva - "Ehh Chipkali, bandage change kiya ki nahi"

She suddenly facepalms her head for forgetting about it but replies to Shiva saying "Main kar diya hai, tujhe chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai"

Shiva - "Gadhedi, jhoot mat bol"

While Raavi looks around near her balcony to see if he’s spying on her.

Another text pops up which says "Ab idhar udhar kya dekh rahi hai, main wahan nahi hoon, pann mujhe teri harkatein acche se pata hai, toh idhar udhar dekhna bandh kar aur bandage change kar"

Raavi ignores his message and is annoyed that he knows her too well.

While, another ping comes through "Acha, toh tu bandage change nahi karegi, soch liya na tune, theek hai, main abhi wahan aa raha hoon"

She replies hastily, "Nahi nahi main kar rahi hoon" and grumpily cleans it up and changes the bandage while hissing in pain, thinking about how Shiva had bandaged it and it hadn’t pained her this much. She replies back, "Done" and he smiles seeing it, and he replies with a "Zyaada dard toh nahi hua?", his concern is overwhelming for her and she wants to reply back, but then she remembers the harsh reality of what all has transpired between them and doesn’t respond back.

She receives a final text from him, saying "Accha tujhe jawab nahi dena hai toh mat de, par apna khayal rakh, good night Chipkali"

As Raavi is all set to go to bed. There’s a knock on door.

Who do you think is knocking on Raavi’s door?

I am truly struggling with ShiVi scenes, I don’t want Raavi to give in so easily yet and want Shiva to make the right amount of efforts to win her back. But I couldn’t help but write a slightly lighter ShiVi scene after all that emotional scenes Raavi went through in the previous ones. Let me know what you guys think.

It is really a balanced chapter ohhh i love when shiva behaves like a ziddi baccha😂😂😂

Overall a well balanced chapter

At some point Raavi has to forgive Shiva, then only story will progress, however if you can make Shiva go against Suman or explaining her about Raavi's feeling, it might be a good scene

This was a fun one!!

I just hope Raavi doesn't give in too easily & Shiva has to work supremely hard to win her back. He should realise that the marriage had sustained this long because of her.

We indeed got ShiVi lollipop but Raavi still has to be Sakth naari in front of Shiva. She can prove to him that she doesn't need him to baby sit her. This one time is ok but she needs to be careful with him. Else he will easily bulldoze back into her life😆

Let Raavi become independent first then she can think about her future life with Shiva - if she would like get back together with him or not.

Gautam and Dhara are going to help Raavi with studies?😕

Can't wait to read in the next chapter, who is at the door at this time of the day?

This story is going beautifully and todays scene did not feel like a lollipop...this scene showed Shiva's development🥰

Another beautiful update.❤️ I liked the ShiVi lollipop. But, I don't want Raavi to melt just yet.😆 I liked how Shiva approached her. He is starting to respect her. I want him to realise what all pain Raavi went through emotionally and just saving her from physical pain is not enough.
