but Sirat seemed to have matured so nicely.. in the last few episodes when the girls were 11/10 Years…Sirat had so much composure and she was so calm …even when Manish was his old rude self..I’m glad he’s changed a bit now. It showed that she may have come from a poor background but she had more class than the rich snobbish Manish Goenka.. Sirat seemed to have matured far more than naira.. Naira was still very stubborn and unbending , felt she was always right and was still running around putting her baby’s life at risk when she was like 9 months pregnant.. I remember that scene ..before akshus birth…I thought that was irresponsible.. especially given her history of pregnancy and delivery problems. Yes she did. She was actually a very well - written character, with an organic story arc. And they didn't make her too much of the perfect bahu too.
Now she was someone with a genuinely traumatic childhood and what I liked about her was that she retained her humanity and compassion despite that. What I meant was that later they cut out her Rajasthani dialect and got her to speak in hindi and made her appearance more like Naira's, maybe in the hope that viewers would find her easier to accept. But yeah, even though her brashness did disappear she remained a person who didn't back down from a conflict.
