The truce is not fake. This is how Aarohi has always been na. When things are going her way, she has no problem with Akshu... when things start to go wrong, she becomes her old manipulative self to get what she wants. Right now, she is focused on her career and wants to leave all other baggage behind, because she never wanted Abhi anyways... so she has no problem with Abhira being together. When it comes to other progress, everyone has accepted Abhira's relationship except Bade Papa. Harsh is going to anyway have to do whatever Abhi says, so once Bade Papa is on board, the shaadi will happen. Bade Papa is slowly softening up. Akshu resigning hit him hard, because he was not expecting to. Abhi brought him home on someone else's bike, and you could see he was softening up even then. In fact, when Abhi held his ears and folded his hands as Akshu was being taken away, Bade Papa looked and paused for a second. Yes, a part of it is his ego, but after society has said such hateful things to his daughter, of course he will be protective of her. Abhira are slowly gaining his acceptance, and I think something big will happen to push him over the edge. For example, maybe the MD kaand will be coming out and Abhi will save the family's reputation. Anisha's entry marks a turning point for the Birlas. They have so many secrets buried within, and her entry will bring them all out. Abhi is changing... becoming less impulsive, gentler, and more thoughtful. And in turn, Akshu is also changing... becoming stronger, more confident, and standing up for herself. I could go on but my hands hurt from typing now 😆
