I have always felt that though she goes Tu Tu main main with her DIL, she shares a good bond with Pri unlike VD and wouldn't support her son's adultery.

True, they support each other so much (and understand each other), VD mostly just cares about herself. I remember Purab saying to Taps (I think in episode 25?) to not put VD on a pedestal. And damn he was right, I don't understand why Taps thinks so highly of her, especially after everything she did.

It's coz she gives great importance to family bonds, so similar to Jaya who suffered abuse for years. See the way she is all words but no action with her spineless father and manipulative sister.

Speaking of her Parents, her father really annoys me with his indecisive and "i feel soo guilty" sad image. And Jaya was okay at first but, when she asked to have Mukul put sindoor on her to make Thapki "Legitimate" (like wtf🤔), that just made it worse. After their characters just started really annoying me.

Same... I was expecting her parents being separated by some play of fate or conspiracy, but turned out Mukul was just a regular cheat. My whole perspective of Jaya changed with that one sindoor to make an already married daughter legitimate!!! Until then they showed her to be a sane person.

Jaya deserves no sympathy after that "Sindoor" khaand

She was protecting Mukul all way ... Jaya even after realising it was only interested in Sindoor..

Wondering how she brought up Tapki , was she doing any job or bas Bhai ke kamaai hi tha ?

Kuch bhi ho free mein gyaan bate karte hai

@bold, totally agree, she kept quiet about that cheater for 20 years and still would tell Taps after she got her voice back, Taps had to find out herself, And Jaya still tried to protect him...

To my fav Character so far is Jaya's Brother, better father figure then Mukul will ever be.
