Why most bollywood movies are based in delhi?

Delhi seems to be a favourite among bollywood filmmakers.why most movies are shot in delhi rather mumbai where they are based.

Not true. Film city is in Mumbai. Wahien shooting hoti hai. I once saw Taj Mahal in Mumbai 🤣

Not really , most films are shot at ramoji studio hyderbad, only outdoor shots are sometimes shot in cities which films are based on
