until malini fcked his brain again about how adi was always irritated with imlie initially and then fell in love with her (cue- aryan might just follow through)

the publishing of her article in front page --- his reaction towards imlie was the culmination of this; he wanted to be happy for her/ her success but he's been raised to always be ahead of a "woman" so his social conditioning did not allow it.... and he blames her "friendship" with CEO

Not so much the meri intern part that affected Adi – because we never saw his reactions to that. I think what messed his brain was the way Imlie treated Adi and Aryan differently for apparently doing the same thing – treating her like crap. Because Adi was a witness to AryLie's initial few encounters where Aryan didn't exactly comes across as a gentleman—the tashan scenes. So, basically:

– Adi saw Imlie standing up for Aryan (a rich stranger) at the fight club but Aryan didn't acknowledge it. Instead, he splashed water on her face, which Adi was witness to.

– Then, he learns that Imlie has accepted internship at BT from Aryan (the same rich stranger), the same internship that she had rejected from him (her husband, mentor, the love of her life).

– Next, Adi saw Aryan make Imlie wash his mud-covered car in pouring rain. Adi had no context to what went on between AryLie before that, so he just saw the apparent and assumed what he wanted to because Imlie refused to let him save her from the tyranny of the new boss.

– Then the article assignment came from Aryan, again, with an unrealistic deadline. Adi offered help/to play saviour, Imlie denied. Next day, she accomplished it and was rewarded for it.

Adi's conclusion from this – Imlie is okay to take shit from the new boss.

Then, why can't she take the shit that he's been throwing her way too? Sulking mode on.

Next question, what's the difference between Aryan and Adi that Imlie is okay with the crap being dished out by one person but not the other? After all, she's been taking shit from Adi and his family since day one in the city for one whole damn year! So, why not anymore? What changed?

The answer – Aryan is rich and successful; Adi, not as much. In between, Imlie has also moved in to Aryan’s house when kicked out from the hostel but refuses to move back to T house even though they are family.

BUT, in all of this, what Adi forgot was that even if he went by the apparent of what he saw between AryLie without knowing the backstory, he forgot that it hurts so much more when you are treated like shit by the ones you love vs being treated so by strangers.

Final conclusion – Imlie is a golddigger, slūt, looking to move up in her career using the wrong means and way and the adarsh patrakar couldn't take it and lost it.

Sundari, responding too late on this one as I wasn't around yesterday, but thanks for the tag. 😆

Don't tell me she's thrown the CEO opportunity and is off to do her old job – saving the Tripathis! 🤣🤣

i have no words for your assessment it’s so spot on and offers a whole new line of thinking. I’ve completely given up on rationalizing AKT’s behaviour bc at the end of the day I don’t particularly care, however you’ve woven it together so beautifully that I now have an almost 360 degree look of what’s going on in the imlie universe

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I don't know what exactly they are talking wrong about but I can guess. I know a proverb in my mother tongue Kannada, "Katte ge en gottu kasturi parimala" meaning that only people with some sense can recognise the actual value of good things. So just neglect them.

What .. what’s happening .. who said what on twitter ???

Hey, this is a great analysis. Have more insight into Aditya Aryan Tashan as I had not yet started watching it.
