I don't think every marriage's end goal is kids. There are lots of couples whom I know who have decided not to have kids or have decided to adopt. I feel when you get married, you should give time before having kids because after you have kids, the equation changes between the partners. A kid should be only brought to the world if both husband and wife are in agreement and not due to societal pressure.

What you mention is urban mindset but the fact after marriage one do become parents the next year due to pressure society and even own relative who can't shut their mouth

These people does not understand a kid should come into the world when spouses agree to it if you are not ready don't. Do not destroy the kids life

I have seen some they give birth to make a relationship better but ends up in divorce & the kid is torn b/w 2 never ever do that,the kid suffers
