See for me is marriage is a huge responsibility. Someday I would marry someone but I sometimes think that why should I adjust with someone n live according to his family daily routine. I live my life according to my terms I love my room my house my parents my lil sister n leaving them for someone is will be very hard for me. I mean why we have to leave our parents for someone.

Im married 3m back..it's an arrange one...and he is too good for me...more than husband he is like my best friend...but still u can't stay with best friend 24/7 know?😅 Because I'm accustomed to live alone since 2014.. all of sudden gng to his home and sharing bed felt weird to me... actually we both r like minded...he too likes to stay alone and we share house hold chores..we r staying in my in-laws house .i don't have problem with my in-laws too..they r too sweet😅 but still I'm introvert..it takes too much time for me to get close once ..so I'm finding difficult to adjust with new environment..as of now I'm having mixed feelings.once wfh ends we will start new life in new city...then i can say my exact feelings😅

Marriage comes with it's own pros and cons. Can't really say what outweighs the other.

It's a person's own choice honestly and should not be forced upon them. It also depends what your priorities are.

Some people prefer loneliness. Some want to focus on their career and feel that marriage responsibilities would distract them which is true.

It also depends what kind of partner you have. If they are supportive, they would make your life better, but you don't know for sure what kind of person you will end up with until it's too late. Divorce is another complicated matter which I don't want to get into.

As girls we get easily attached to our partners and become emotional, we are unable to focus on other things and that's why it becomes so hard to break free.

My personal view is that at some point in life--if not now, then later--everyone does get lonely and needs a partner who they can share their highs and lows with. Someone they can build a family with. Someone who waits for them to come home when they are late or caught up somewhere. Someone who worries for them when they are in trouble. This is especially the case when you get old and your parents would not be with you anymore, and your siblings would get busy with their own marriage and family.

Then again, like I said, it depends on your own priorities in life and what type of partner you have. Everyone's situation is different.

In most countries and jurisdictions a legal marriage becomes necessary for long-term relationships, especially if you plan to have kids. It gives you necessary legal protection like inheritance, custody, etc. But also has some benefits like taxes.

I don't see any reason for ceremonial marriages beyond legal court documents. It's a waste of time, money, and energy. This form of marriage is not going to strengthen your bond or make it more beautiful.

Sounds great 😆

I'll only tie the knot when I find someone who understands my goals and aspirations and together we can find a mid-ground. ✌🏻

I don't want to marry.

The only reason I would marry would be because when I am old, I want some company. So I will marry after 70 , that is if I find someone.

Marriage is not for me. I don't want to have kids. I am pretty sure I am asexual.

I would love to be in a asexual marriage with lots of love and support. I have not met anyone in real life who wants to have asexual marriage, so i am prepared to be alone. That is how world works unfortunately

I like the idea of chilling with my invisible husband but then going home to my own bed. That way, I won’t get sick of him. 😆

Basically, the ideal marriage for me would be to see him 3-4 times a week and have at least 3 days off. I’m sure the readers will conclude that I’ll never get married if I hold onto these expectations. It’s okay, I’ve made my peace. 🤗

Exactly my thoughts!
