Liked today’s episode. It was a good mix of everything. Everyone in the families is on board and can see what is in front of them i.e. Abhira’s reality. Even Arohi was toned down today. It’s just Harsh vs. Manish’s egos at this point and their obsession with how society views them. Neil and Arohi’s story is starting… Neil cut her kite.. he will be the one to cut her ego (as he already did once through the MD exposure) and bring her down to earth. Abhi only listens to Akshu… loved the way she explained the importance of their families using their own love story. Abhi is still a child at heart, but Akshu is helping him grow patient, mature, and more steady-headed. Loved that Abhi didn’t put the heart down even when Kairav saw. As he told Akshu, their love is their truth, and there is nothing to be afraid of. The dream dance sequence was so nice…cannot wait until that dream becomes a reality. The kite with the family photo is no more, showing that they will have to overcome many barriers in order to accomplish that, but they will get there, as both of them have vowed. Akshu saved Abhi, and neither one of them got hurt. There are many dangers and challenges coming their way, but they will survive together. And this time, when the greatest danger of all comes in the form of a dhamaka right before shaadi, it will be Akshu who saves Abhi’s world, his reputation, his everything. At the end when the families were being insulted, you could see that even the Birlas did not like how the people were talking about the Goenka girls… and each family was standing up for their own…in this way, at least the family unity is coming back. The first step towards accepting Abhira’s love will be for the families to accept their own children back and get over the jhatka they have gotten. Precap marks the start of the full blown forbidden romance trope. I guess it will last all of Feb and Abhira will be scheming on how to get the families together at the same time.
