In the AdiLie track, Imlie was walking away from Aditya and Aditya was following her. Aditya was jealous of Prakash, he was insecure about his position in her life and he was not willing to address his feelings for Imlie.

In AryLie track, its more about letting Imlie lead, keeping his end of the bargain of being her partner. Inspite of his own issues with Aditya, he still chose to let her do her thing and be in her element and stand behind her keeping his own issues aside.

The contrast here being that Imlie's strength scared Aditya that she did not need him anymore and made him insecure of his position in her life. Aryan on the other hand, is inspired by Imlie's strength, her faith, her hope, her views. Inspite of being so antagonistic about Aditya, he chose to keep that aside to help Imlie as he had promised.

Imlie's strength has been a cause of fear for Aditya always, cause what she can do, he can only imagine. In his head he is some heroic journalist but Imlie always shows him how weak he is at the end of the day, a normal regular weak character. Since Imlie was so besotted by him, he tried to regulate and mould her courage in his favor and confidently used it to save his sorry ass cause Imlie is my wife and loves me and will protect me always. He wanted Imlie to walk on the way he carved out for her so that Imlie remains with him and continues worshipping his unappealing self and put up with his stupid decisions.

Aryan on the other hand is okay with Imlie's volatility. He knows she needs direction and guidance, nothing more. Rest Imlie can handle on her own. If and only if he feels that she needs him that is when he only steps in. And I have seen it in most scenes that Aryan always stays in the background to let Imlie do her thing and never steps in. That is why I always see him as Shiv to Imlie's Shakti. Shiv was a self assured God confident of his consort's abilities. So he always let her do her thing and stayed behind. Only when things went out of control did Shiv step in. I always see AryLie in the Shiv-Shakti context than the Ram-Sita one.

Aryan is definitely show to be a better person than Aditya every aspect. Just shows how well he was brought up by his mother Narmada. As a mother Narmada showed so much confidence that Aryan will be fine in PD and that he was strong enough mentally, emotionally and physically to take care of himself and did not need send someone to protect him.

Comparing her to Aparna's upbringing- to her Aditya is hmmm how do I say it her "Raja Beta" who is so great that he needs constant supervision and protection. TBH she is a very selfish mother (actually all of T clan are pure selfish characters) and only cares for her son and no one else. The day Imlie and Aditya got divorced, did anyone come to talk to Imlie or even see how she was doing? NOPE, they all just ran behind their Ghar ka Chirag instead. Even now when her so called aankoh tara son went to PD willingly and got himself kidnapped like an idiot she didn't think to even step out of the house to go and talk to the police or the higher ups, noooo she just sat down on her comfy sofa and put all her hope on a 19 year old to go and protect her son and didn't care that she will be entering a place that has bombs and that she could die as well. NOPE, mera beta mera beta is all she cared about. Seriously, this family is such a headache. I really want the makers to phase them ASAP, like can't see anymore of their mind-numbing scenes anymore. It feels like I am loosing brain cells when I watch their scenes ---and so I just FF their screen time 🤣.

Coming to the Shiv-Shakti portion. I agree on that as well 👍🏼, they are for sure fitting that context rather than Ram-Sita. But I think that Shiv only steps in when Shakti takes on her Kaali avatar, that's the time when he truly has to step in to control her. Since, Shiv-Shakti are one and the same (Shiv is Shakti and Shakti is Shiv) they are always on equal grounds, both fulfill their duties, give each other advice, provide support & strength to one another and Shiv or Shakti will step in when either one is unable to control any situation.

We have been seeing these characteristics in Aryan-Imlie relationship like you mentioned, now just hoping that makers will build on your premise of Shiv-Shakti .. I would be truly happy to see this happen.
