I never said showing love story was wrong. Afterall the whole show was based on Rudhita journey and after Bondita grew up it was inevitable. And there could be no one for Ani apart from Bondita. But I have major problems with execution. Both of their realisations came so out blue. I just couldn't connect with it. And the dialogues for it were even more childish. That pyar ka bhukar got on my nerves. Love stories can be subtle yet beautiful. It definitely deserved a separate track, because Ani was shown so so against it pre leap. It should have been more gradual.

@bold- couldn't agree more These have been my favourite scenes too and were so heartwarming to watch

They could have either shown Anirudh becoming an extremist or Britishers causing division between Hinduism and Islam! Declaring them to be different which really happened in our history! That would have made it look rather real than a typical Bollywood movie.

Agree with that pyaar ka bhukar 😆 Dialogues should have been more subtle and quite mature!

Kaka turned so egoistic! 🤔 And Somnath looked like such an agressive man! And then the whitewash!🤦🏻‍♀️

Why would the feud between 2 families turn 2 villages against each other? There was no strong reason said or shown about it.

Speaking of love realization, I could relate to Anirudh's realization as pre leap, after HM track, he was comfortable with the idea of Bondita being his wife. She became his partner in everything except the physical aspect and he was happy with it . His "zimmedari" rant also was almost nil.

Only when TRC brought up the topic of their consummation during menstruation track, he was back to his zimmedari crap as an escape mechanism and things went downhill.

Had that incident and marriage annulment not have happened, they would have naturally progressed into a normal husband-wife relationship.

Bondita is the partner that he had been looking for and he had subconsciously accepted her as his wife after HM track. It was only her age that had kept him on hold in thinking about having a normal marriage with Bondita.

Else, why would he keep the option of choosing him again as her husband open to her?

What kept him away from thinking about or marrying some other women for 8 years? Bondita wasn't his wife anymore and their platonic relationship wouldn't be affected even if he married some other woman.

His feelings have been clearly screaming his love for Bondita subtly since pre leap itself.

But now he was tied up by the responsibility of maintaining Dushmani. However, he was at least at peace then that Bondita didn't hate him because of dushmani.

His resolve to stay away broke only when she declared that he was no longer the Biristra Babu whom she admired, worshipped and loved during Sanyasini track.

He could bear everything even being physically away from her. But the distance that she created between them after Sanyasini track was emotional.

That's something he would never bear for anything. That's what triggered his subconsciously ingrained love for her to the forefront.

But yes, Bondita's love realization was unrelatable and seemed forced. There was not a strong trigger for love realization unlike the case of Anirudh.

And choti Bondita was absolutely the wrong choice to make Badi Bondita realize her love for Anirudh.

Stretching any story makes it boring, same with this track! We waited for AniDita reunion but when did we get it? At the end! They could have quite quickly bring Anirudh and show him caring for her, this could have actually display some sort of differentiation! Also some unbelievable things like that bar....They could have lessen the boldness of the scene..

But yes I too hated the fact that they used choti Bondita for confession it wad cringey ultra pro max,reminded me of that ink pot scene!!😵

Umm mujhe usse koi problem nahin hui because i've watched even more bold stuff so...😆The only time this show made me feel awkward was that SR track !!😵
