I agree with Rangu treating BB badly but I do feel writers also messed up the story a lot post leap. They messed up the characters too from time to time. They made it about pyar pyar pyar. Jis baat ke liye log leap ko troll kar rahe the they actually made it about it. I am no way against Rudhita love story but I feel it was rushed a lot. Social dramas have done well on colors. If the trp was good Rangu wouldn't have dared to pull the plug off the show.

I rather loved the post leap because it wasn't as dragged or boring when compared to Manorama or Thakuma track preleap. They were together cringefest.

Also, the post leap gave me many gem of the scenes that I'll forever cherish. Especially the scenes where he eats roshogulla, plays piano and laughs heartily after 8 long years. They're my forever favourite scenes of BB.

The problem I felt was with the characterizations. They weren't kept consistent with pre leap except Bondita's and Anirudh's.

There was just one slip in maintaining Anirudh's consistency- he took up the role of Barrister Babu himself after Binoy was attacked by Krishna nagar or Churchur precisely 🤭. Nobody forced him to become the messiah for Tulsipur.

But in his letters to Bondita which he never sent her, he gave an impression that he is doing all this dushmani, holding guns and choosing violence despite not wanting it, as if someone forced him to do so. But it actually wasn't the case.

And even TRC highlighted it when Anirudh came to stop Shashwati's child marriage.

Speaking of love story, Anidita do deserve their love story with the happy ending/beginning with marriage. There can't any better life partner for both except each other. And especially, Anirudh had lived all alone these years longing for Bondita. So, our darling Babu does deserve his Badmaash Bondita for all that he had done for her selflessly.

Won't to mention dushmani track was stretched but it was good 2 thing was batuk track what was the need for batuk 🤢 they should have just shown andita against each other for some case

I don't want to be a quick judge here. Maybe the makers did plan to address to some social issues with Batuk and Bondita but had to haphazardly change and rush the story due to off air date constraints.

And they did try to address the concept of male domination, chauvinism and ego through Batuk while he was impersonating Anirudh and trying to belittle Bondita and mould her into a typical, spineless, helpless wife who didn't have a voice of her own in anything. But sadly couldn't explore further.

I am not saying pre leap was perfect. I have mentioned that in another post and many times in the forum about some horrible tracks there too. But post leap most of the characters were messed up. Dushmani thing was such a crap. They could have written something much better than that. There were so many inconsistencies and loop holes.

Alll the characters especially kaka behaved so weirdly. I just feel it was quite hapazard. Ek character dhang se behave kare toh dusra ajeeb behave karta tha. They didn't seem to have a proper vision of the story and seemed to plan tracks on the go. Not saying Rangu treated it fairly, but makers too did a lot of mistakes.

I never said showing love story was wrong. Afterall the whole show was based on Rudhita journey and after Bondita grew up it was inevitable. And there could be no one for Ani apart from Bondita. But I have major problems with execution. Both of their realisations came so out blue. I just couldn't connect with it. And the dialogues for it were even more childish. That pyar ka bhukar got on my nerves. Love stories can be subtle yet beautiful. It definitely deserved a separate track, because Ani was shown so so against it pre leap. It should have been more gradual.

They could have either shown Anirudh becoming an extremist or Britishers causing division between Hinduism and Islam! Declaring them to be different which really happened in our history! That would have made it look rather real than a typical Bollywood movie.

Agree with that pyaar ka bhukar 😆 Dialogues should have been more subtle and quite mature!

Kaka turned so egoistic! 🤔 And Somnath looked like such an agressive man! And then the whitewash!🤦🏻‍♀️
