Yes!! God what a mismatching cast!! Bajirao was a Maharashtrian from the Konkan coast and was never so fair in skin tone!! His look was that of an average Marathi male and this guy is a Punjabi with fair skin tone!! The child actor playing young Bajirao is of dark skintone and it actually suits the role but how will they explain grown up Bajirao suddenly becoming model of Fair and Lovely!! For god sake can't they cast a Marathi actor for a Marathi character!! 🤬😡

Exactly Kavita!! The reason the role of Bajirao suited Ranveer because his skintone was perfect for the role and his Marathi pronounciation and expressions were impeccable!! His acting made it sure that it was not Ranveer but Bajirao speaking!! Deepika on the other hand was a miscast in my opinion!! Mastani was never known to have fought or gone in muhim with Bajirao instead it was Kashibai who accompanied him and there are historical records that prove it!! Anyway they must have gone mad if they trying to cast this actor as Bajirao!! It will be the biggest miscast of the year!!

Thanks!! The reason MHRW was a hit because they casted Marathi actors for Marathi roles and a Marathi girl for a Marathi female lead and Telugu guy for a Telugu male lead!! So when they spoke in their native tongue it did not feel forced or fake or cringy but real!! Casting is very important for any show to work!! Look at Vidrohi apart from disastrous storyline the casting is huge miscast!! Sharad Malhotra do not even look like an Odia and his Odia gives me cringe and that princess character has no mention in history !! I don't know from where they invented her!! This is history not historical fiction!!
