Take for instance the show Saubhagyavati Bhava that was based on domestic violence. People wanted to see Karan Bohra and Sriti Jha together even when his character Viraj was abusing the wife Jahnvi to the limit of insanity, only because they are good looking people. Then they showed Jahnvi somehow run away and start a new life as Sia and Harshad Chopda came in as parallel lead Raghav and some audience shifted to liking them together, but baaki still insisted Jahnvi should become a reform centre and treat Viraj and bring him back to the humane world because she was still legally his wife (bhaag gayi thi par divorce nahi dikhaya onscreen). Beyond my understanding but kya bole.
