Y'all are reading too much into the villain dialogue methinks. They would have built-up Aditya much better and cast a more impactful actor if they wanted to resusciate Adi/lie.

He's also not going to 'save' them because itna commotion sunke toh utha nahi gaya isse

Most likely, he will get to witness their KBM/marriage and get heartbroken + jealous.

Also she has been using her BS-ing techniques whenever she gets into an ominous situation with Aru. Nothing new.
