Yes, the writing is thorough in the original. They even discuss their business plans, money flow and everyone knows what’s going on though money is managed by Murthy, Dhanam and Jeeva.
Mullai and Kathir took the money which Murthy gave them for all the tests and treatment at the hospital. Each couple only gets 2000 rupees for their personal expenses and if they want more they can always ask.

Kannan- Aishwarya alone get more money because both are studying in college, so their fees, commuting expenses are all taken care of by the family which ofcourse Meena is not happy about.

Dhanam was on pills too but they explained her complications very well and showed a successful pregnancy at the age of 35.

MIL character, Lakshmi was loved by her DILs and she was equally affectionate towards them but they ended her character after 3 years in the show, ended her track by showing she died of natural causes.

Yep, Pixie... They'd showed Mullai quarantining herself beautifully back when the show restarted after the first lockdown. Meena was pregnant, and so they didn't want to risk infection. Kathir was the only one Mullai even let enter the room, and they called a doctor up for advice and all. And that too only because she was paranoid about sneezing a couple times. 😆

Have seen a couple of Meena's appointments to the ObGyn back when she was pregnant. Showed details down to needing a full bladder before scans and all that.... I have zero expectations of THAT sort from any Hindi TV show, although this kind of thing is pretty normal for Tamil shows. Very logical, mostly they are.
