In the coming days, the angst will be generated by her accusations + her emotional cheating with BS-jiju + her actual faith in the sanctity of sindoor + her attraction to Aru. So even if she doesn't acknowledge the marriage and tries to go back to BS-jiju, her sindoor and Aditya's jealousy will stop her in minute ways.
Totally got the same feeling after watching the episode last night. Since they seem to be drawing reverse parallels each time.
Imlie being ready to die but not marry, Aru likely protecting her and asking her to just survive (?) would be a reverse of the the first time.
Imlie not acknowledging this forced marriage, Aru silently doing so despite her accusations (last time he who shall not be named had accused her of snatching him from Malini)
They had made a VERY BIG deal out of PD sindoor last time, so while it will invisibly restrain her from doing anything stupid, I don't trust this chick, she is too impulsive. Outwardly, she might just shun the whole sindoor (I almost wrote the two letters for cow dung) drama. But in the initial days before she realizes namak ka value, the sindoor will keep pulling her back from crossing the line.
Wonder what role Narmada and Arpita will play in this. They are gentle souls, both of them and I think they are going to be guiding posts for Imlie along this journey. They have drawn lots of parallel between the Ts and Rs, I think this is where the rubber will meet the road, how they will gently keep shepherding her back to Aryan.
Like you said, this emotional cheating with Aditya is going to set up psych games between Aru and Imlie. The difference here being, Imlie was 19, socially conditioned and impressionable. The person she is jaaping is a grown passive aggressive man child. So there was no malice when she pushed HWSNBN back to Maloni. But there will be bitter, jealous, acerbic words coming from the other side this time and while initially the sindoor reigns her in, the value of namak (Aryan) will voluntarily bring her back to Aryan later, eventually (god maybe another 6 months from now) realizing that her place really is beside and with Aryan. So even if there was a PF and an avenue opens up to go back to you know who, she will not take it.
I cannot imagine Aryan quietly sitting on the sideline letting her walk all over him. So that is what I am going to pay (literally) to see. The Aryan Imlie mental games. There was another point but my sleep deprived brain lost it while typing this.
Oh and Aru ka secret bhi to bahar aana hai to add fuel to the fire (facepalms). This was not the point that escaped me though, damn it!
Waise I write will as if I know anything, which I don't and makers always will make popat of all my thoughts, but while this will be a track that is going to give me heart ache, heart burn and headaches, like I said I am going to sit back and watch Aru's part in all this monkey nonsense. Aaj ka essay. Not even going to dare catch up on the DT, unless something earth shattering has happened overnight.
