I also think Aru won't be able to maintain distance for long. You know what struck me on the bus top? Aru's flashbacks once they were back to back, included the lori scene with his hand in her hair stroking her. Imlie in pain and Aryan staying away? I don't think he could do it. Not unless she really really pushes him away. But like you pointed out, she accepts his presence. If he does try to stay away and she seeks him out, game on again.

I can't even call them opposite sides of magnet.... They attract each other faster than that 😆

At this point if her BS-ing is not enough to push him away i don't know what will be ....
