Aryan didn't have to do anything... Adi was himself on self destructive mode whereas In ADI Imlie case.. Imlie endured a lot bcoz of Adi's selfish n self pityng nature.

I feel this is directed more towards her NY year resolution n Arylie's confrontation after that.
