Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai copies kissing scene from Spider-Man, fans hail Harshad Chopda's 'dedication'

After undergoing a time leap, long-running daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai now takes forward the story of Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira's (Shivangi Joshi) kids. The show is produced by Rajan Shahi and initially featured Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan. From October 2021, it stars Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant as the show introduced the third generation of the Goenka family.

The show is doing fairy well among the audience and has managed to retain its loyal fanbase. Harshad's performnace as Abhimanyu is beng enjoyed since the start. Now, a new scene in one of the latest episodes of the Hindi language show is being compared to Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst starrer Spider-Man (2002).

When Mary (Kirsten) is being bothered by some goons in a dimly lit alley, Spider-Man rescues her and they kiss. At this instance, Spider-Man is hanging upside down from a building in his suit and rain pours down. Mary lowers his mask till the nose to share a kiss with him. This scene has become iconic over the years and when a similar situation was recreated between Abhimanyu and Akshara, fans could not help but instantly draw the comparisons between them.

As stills from the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai scene surfaced on social media, netizens noticed that Harshad's neck had turned red from all the blood rushing to his head as he hung upside down. Fans of the show praised Harshad for doing the scene with dedication and for practically hanging upside down from the brach of a tree during the scene duration.

How protective of his Akshu is he....I just can't....my whole heart ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

How hurt must he be to walk away but honestly he deserves that his love is reciprocated and acknowledged.

Tomorrow she shouts about her love for him so everyone can hear her.

I honestly also feel like I should be writing Abhimanyu....not Abhi🤣🤣🤣

The thing is, I get Akshu. I have been Akshu. We all have been quiet for family, decided to do things for the family. Sab ke life mein aise bohot situations aate hai .. and it's difficult, so difficult to take a stand. Lekin, kabhi kabhi, when it just gets too much, kuch toh bologe na. Otherwise, tum apne aap ko dhokha de rhe ho ..

Akshu se zyada gussa mujhe Goenkas par hai. Kaisa parivar hai yaar. Aarohi said so much crap, and they all just stood there. Didn't move a muscle. Harsh was right, jiski khud ki behn uske baare mein aise baat krti hai..uske baare mein sab kya sochenge.

Goenkas are the root cause of all trouble. If they had taught Aarohi some sanskaar (I know very regressive, but I don't know what else to say) then things wouldn't have gotten so out of hand..

I agree.... We all have been Akshu and I am disappointed too. And I know I am in for more disappointment tomorrow because Akshara will confess at the last moment... After Abhi heart would be once again broken.

Gonekas are in for a major redemption track but they have got a lot of depth too. It's just that it's not being explored.

Tbh, a lot of Harsh dialogues make sense. Akshara does have selective mutism. She gives back to Birlas but when it comes to her family, she becomes a hypocrite. Akshara selective mutism puts Abhi in the wrong light and even though I hate Harsh and he is a real jerk, no father will like it.
