It hurt to see her with that person. It hurt when she said that she wanted to spend more time in this party but he could not refuse because it made her happy and nothing was more important for him than seeing her smiling,even if he was not the reason.

But that was not important. The most important fact was that she didnt believe him.Why? Why didnt she believe him? Why would he create a story? Is that how much she knew him,that he would just put a false accusation on someone else?
His rational part understood that she wasnt entirely wrong but he was in no mood to listen to it because it was about them, about whatever was between them.
He had just wanted to warn her to tread carefully.Her friend was not what that person showed but she wasnt in mood to listen to him.
It pricked him when she said that she trusted that person fully.
He knew that person was a playing a game and wanted to create a rift between them but he wouldnt let him. It was always their story and it always would be.

She couldnt believe he blamed her friend.Why would her friend do that to her. He was no longer making sense to her. He had always been calm, composed and mature..who was this moody and emotional person?
Why didnt he get that this wasnt about her trusting him.
Hadnt she always trusted him? Wasnt he always the first person she went to for her problems? Wasnt he the one whose approval she always sought? Who could always calm her down?
She just couldnt understand him anymore..he frustrated her to no end.
