I was wondering about this for a long time now. Why does he speak very weirdly with Akshara?

Yes it is very common in Bollywood to smooch off regional movies. If they are really good, Bollywood will ruin it. If they are really bad but blockbusters, Bollywood will embellish it and make it a bigger blockbuster.
