The current track is, let’s be honest, not liked by any of us. And seeing the spoilers, I am sure not much is expected.
I wrote this last night but honestly, was scared of posting it. It is something I wished had happened in the show but I am sure it won’t.

Share of happiness
Shiva was stunned looking at the decorations in their room. The “I love you” note brought a small smile on his face. But the moment he realised that the one who was supposed to say it was not in the room with him, he felt like going to Maami’s house and bring her back.
He was still struggling with accepting what went wrong in their relationship but because Raavi gave him a chance few days back by forgiving him, he decided to become worthy of that chance. “Marriage is based on trust, Raavi and we need to have that on each other. I am sorry I let you down but from now on, it is going to get better.”
Raavi was happy that Shiva was back from jail. She wanted to talk to him, clear her stance but her anger was stopping her from going to him.
“Thinking about me?” Shiva disturbed her thought process. Raavi turned towards the window and saw Shiva standing there. It had become their unwritten code that whenever she will be upset, he will come through the window and talk some sense into her.
Raavi smiled a little but immediately, her eyes were filled with anger for what he did to her. Her expression made Shiva realise that convincing Raavi won’t be a cakewalk. A simple “sorry” won’t suffice, there needs to be a big gesture.
“I am here to talk, to apologise.” Shiva said.
“Then go back because I do not want to talk to a guy who treats me like a doormat.”
“Raavi, I am sor…I saw the decorations…in our room. Do you mean it?”
“Tore them apart and throw everything away. That was something you do not deserve, Shiva.”
Shiva was stunned hearing this. The joy that was in his heart on seeing and realising that Raavi loves him was replaced by fear of losing her, forever.
“You know what, I was so wrong. Not just about you but your whole family. You people are just selfish. You will love someone only if that person agrees to whatever you say. Be it you, Dhara di, kaaki…everyone.”
“Raavi, you know what Anita did was absolutely wrong and you are still supporting her. Questioning bhabhi’s love for you?”
Raavi scoffed a little and started talking, “What Anita di did was not just wrong, it was inhumane. No amount of apologies can undo that. But what was my mistake? I trusted her because she is my sister. She wronged me too. And look at me, I have no one to go to. You did not even care to have faith in me and you say that you lo…?” She stopped in the middle and looked at Shiva, who was running his hand through his hair.
Shiva was having an epiphany that what he did was wrong but he was unable to put forward it to Raavi in clear words. “Alas! I have never been good with words.” He thought to himself.
“Now, if you can leave. I need to sleep I am tired.” Raavi told in a stern voice.
Shiva thought that she is angry and it is better to leave her alone, let her calm down a bit. He decided he will come back in the morning and was about to leave when he saw a bandage on her right wrist; he felt like he was in a vacuum. “What…what happened…on your…to your hand?” He asked, forming coherent words with great difficulty.
“Nothing that I cannot manage. You go.”
“Please, tell me.” He begged her, literally with tears in his eyes.
Seeing this state of Shiva made Raavi come close to him. She was just looking at Shiva with tears in her eyes.
“I am fine.” She said.
“Can I stay with you? For sometime?” He asked.
She nodded but told him in simple words that she is not interested in talking about what happened today at the hospital.
Shiva agreed and both of them were just standing there, finding their peace in each other’s presence.
“You know what, I wanted to be an engineer. I was good at Math. But seeing our finances, I decided to give up on my dreams. I did not want Gaumbi to bear the burden alone, so I started helping him.” He took a pause and slid down the wall to sit on the floor. Raavi was sitting next to him.
“We had a tough childhood, you know it better than anyone else. You were a part of it; a very important one at that…” he looked at Raavi and took her hand in his.
“When Dhara bhabhi came into our lives, things got a bit better. I was ready to accept you as a part of our family because it would have made Dhara bhabhi happy. Then, I was asked to get married to you; the girl I hated all my life. I got married because that was what my family needed.” He tightened his hold on her hand.
“And you crazy girl, you agreed because of your family.” She looked at her with a smile in between tears.
“And look where we are. While trying to find everyone else’s happiness, we forgot to look for ours.” He hugged her and started sobbing like a baby.
“Shiva, everyone get their share of happiness, sooner or later. We will get it too.” Raavi tried to console him by patting his back.
“I do not deserve you but I am not yet ready to give up on us. I cannot. You and I were forced in this relationship but now, I just-“ Raavi shushed him.
“You and I can start afresh. Clean slate.” Raavi was just trying to decipher how Shiva interpreted her words.
“I promise you, no one and I mean it, no one is above you for me, Raavi. We were always meant to be together and no one can change that.” Saying this, Shiva hugged his Raavi tightly.
“I meant it.” Raavi said.
Shiva looked at her with a confused look trying to understand what she was saying.
“What?” He asked.
“What…that…what you saw in our room…that is true…I mean it.” Raavi said with a little blush on her cheeks.
Shiva gave a crooked smile to Raavi and simply kissed her on her forehead and said “I know.”
Both of them were lying down for hours when Shiva broke the silence and started talking “just so we are clear, I love you too.” Shiva immediately looked at Raavi after confessing but to his surprise, she was asleep. He hugged her again and decided to sleep next to the best hugger for him.
“I know as well.” It was nothing above a whisper but Shiva understood it.
It was time for them to move beyond the regrets and misunderstandings and start afresh. It was about time they have their happily ever after.
