I'm so confused by all of Malini's tanne towards Arylie about them being boyfriend and girlfriend, going on dates, etc. Aditya made comments about them as well during the wedding festivities. Sometimes the surrounding families will act as if it's a shameful thing too if they were dating.

Malini and Aditya dated for SEVEN YEARS. Why was there no moral policing, tanne towards them? What's the issue if Arylie even were dating.

This approach the T's take to Imlie, like she's Aditya's unofficial second wife is disgusting.

Just before Imlie almost fell and Aryan saved the day , a colleague approached Aditya saying he inspires her and can she please have a selfie.

Then there's another scene, where Aryan tells the interns that Imlie is his inspiration.

I can't help but draw comparisons. The former is typical idealization, somewhat romanticized and from a distance. In the latter scene Aryan knows very well who Imlie is and who she is inspires him.

To be an inspiration to someone, not by way of some false projection, but by way of real day-to-day interactions with that someone, it's so very rare.

I love that they wrote this element into the AryLie dynamic. If they wanted they couldn't shown Aryan playing protector to Imlie's damsel and left it at that. Instead they have these these two going from distrust and animosity to a very adorably wonderful 50/50 partnership.

If they wanted they could've also showed Aryan being a complete foil to Aditya, including professionally. But Imlie's doing that herself instead. They started it innocuously enough with that front-page article and have since progressed to big time events like what's happening in PD.

Which leads me to this thought: Imlie herself will be the one to vanquish Aditya when the time comes.

Just had a thought...

These pannapari tribe thinks of Imlie as the reincarnation of their goddess or something, so she'll have some power over them,

And if she's smart (we know she is and has her mentor along)

She can use their help to vanquish this atank guy because let's face it they aren't any less dangerous when it comes down to it...

It's just speculation at this point. Given the build up... Tribal village... Imlie is their princess... Aryan in danger... You know, the usual.

When she’s worried about her villagers and loved ones - he’s like, we shouldn’t waste time, let’s go then. Providing her the strength that she needs.

What I love most about their relationship is that even in the worst of times, the most trying of times, they’re just so comfortable with each other, that they still find time to bicker.

Such typical couple-vibes they were throwing out today (and you know almost every time they’re together). Again with him being like - if you’d only waited a few minutes I could’ve gotten us a cab. Him just already out of his element and her not taking his nonsense. He didn’t even balk when she called him ABP, I think that was one of my favourite parts - how she first called to him, and that he didn’t even miss a beat in replying to her.

When his jacket fell, I was internally screaming - “leave it!!!” But then I was like, he’s probably carrying it in case Imlie gets cold. Fair enough, as hideous as it maybe that’s purpose for it is a worthwhile one. Looks like there won’t be another jacket moment though.

His line about how her problem was that the ones she gets the most pain from are the ones she loves the most. I hope they don’t just let this line fall away, I hope this is something she comes back to, understands, reflects on.

Narmada and Arpita again just prove how amazing they are. Their concern for everyone, even Aparna was surprised. It was clear that in their situation she wouldn’t care about their son. I mean she’s already clearly shown she doesn’t actually care for Imlie. Narmada’s real concern that Aru would blame himself if anyone was to get hurt because of his past and just because of how even with that tough exterior he’s got a heart of gold.

I could barely sit through Malini’s screeching today. Finally Arpana spoke up and told her off - as much as this woman annoys me, her words at the end towards her were on point today. I’m glad they all remembered Aryan in their concern for Imlie.

Interested to see where this whole thing in the precap will lead tomorrow. He’s not being as cool and collected. It could just come down to him just genuinely being such a city boy that he doesn’t recognize the danger they’re in. I’m getting the feeling this whole thing is to establish some more of that balance between the two - he’s totally out of his element now, in Imlie’s element and she’s going to teach him and guide him here.

And I’m going to stop there. I’ve been interrupted too many times by my siblings and now can’t remember my train of thought anymore lol

Going back to catch up on the thread.

The second bold - wow. I'm going to watch this part closely tomorrow. This is such a huge thing. He's giving her counselling again. I wish they could show her go to actual therapy, but I guess this is the next best thing.

I did get it. But this Imlie is making me angsty with her BabuSaheb jaap. When the one person who in a short duration of time has stood through thick-and-thin for her.

Basically I want female version of Jaaniya to come soon

That does seem like a logical step in this story. Why bring a random group of characters in at a time like this if not to help them in some way.

I too have issues with stereotyping and creating punchlines at the expense of a group of people like this, so I’ll feel slightly better about the introduction of this community of people if their purpose is greater in the storyline. To provide the support that Imlie and Aryan need to save the people of PD. Using the skills and strengths they being to create an effective SWAT team so to speak.
