A message to people reading fan fiction on here.

According to the Oxford Dictionary,

"Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional."

Writing takes soul. Whether it be an amateur or a professional. And when someone else takes claim for your soul, it hurts, without exception. I'm an amateur author who writes for the pleasure of it, because of the connection I share with Shivi as characters. And someone else has taken claim for it today.

Someone has posted a part of my story, Becoming Us Again, as their own work on IG. I've both commented and DMed the person, asking her/him to take it down, or else I'll be reporting them. I would appreciate it if friends here would do that as well. Report this person, I mean.

For everyone's knowledge, I have only one IG account, which is a personal account. I do not post any kind of fan related posts on IG. At. All.

YOU! THE PERSON WHO DID THIS?! IF YOU COME BY IF AGAIN, I HOPE YOU'VE READ THIS.

Let me know of this is against IF rules, only posted this here because the actual story was posted here on this very forum.
