He actually didn't know when & how it happened, in his case there can't be 1 instance which we can't point out clearly ki yahan se hua.

Monami ka clear tha once he saves her in organ trafficking tab se she started liking him.

Par Karan ka bahut subtle & gradual tha, uske mostly bas woh when he is attracted towards her, wahi reactions clear dikhe hai, so many people still think ki it was just attraction for him.

Par uski care, concern, admiration sab tha. In that 'kiston mein' rope sequence he had happy for her, admiration wala look as if saying 'see you did it, good keep it up'.

Haan,bahut instances hai when I have reduced the speed to 0.75 and seen and then noticed Karan's eyes..its even there in the light wala sequence..
