I can understand her.😒..my best friend since age 7 is a tamilian..she even tried to sit with me to teach me....my mom..my husband. Everyone knws tamil. They like to watch tamil movies..but if I watch with them,they will change channel to someother language..becz they say I start asking the meaning and they will never be able to listen to the movie themselves..rather not watch🤪..Netflix helped though..

She learnt through movies because we all spoke English with her. The main problem is that it is so different from Hindi or English. If you know Malayalam, it is easier as there are still some similarities.
