As someone said...if she likes you, she likes you... otherwise you are treated like a stone. Plus her shows usually last long and make people rich. But i honestly think, the bigger the pH the lesser the actor learns. I feel all the actors who work with bigger ph's stop growing after a time. Some very rich and famous actors have only played bahu'd or the cardboard male leads...and have just stopped growing as actors. But money matters. It's the fundamental truth. They gotto pay bills and maybe that is why ..
But hats off to actors like Hina Khan and Jennifer Winget who were able to break that mould and grow as actors. But again...only after they were able to reach financial stability from the saas bahu saga...so atleast some actors are finally able to break and grow. So overall I feel ek does not do much except make people rich...but that is also important...bills ...bills...bills .

Of course wen u act as the same character for almost 5 yrs or more... Ur acting capabilities are not stretched .. u dnt have any growth and it's only good for stability and paying bills but does nothing to ur acting prowess ...even later if u play any other character it looks like ur previous character only.. and that s the sad truth..
But then ur last line.. bills bills bills.. for that ekta saga s definitely the choice .
Jennifer s a class apart.. she has worked in ekta s serial but not as lead.. she did better shows later and showed her prowess..
Hina Khan .. dnt like her acting .. but she did break the stereotype.. she was very diff wen she started out and worked 8 yrs for that serial.. but then she refused to be typecasted.. and it's a big deal.. she herself said she lost lot of money by refusing roles... So as not to be repetitive.. but not everyone can do it..
Bills and monetary stability in today's world s a huge thing.. so can't judge anyone s choices too
