Well corrected purple. Imlie is far from being stupid, her ideas are brilliant and brave if foolhardy. Like you said, they work. The T's are somewhat stupid as they fight the wrong people ( extreme insults to Imlie at one point), and not Anu and Malini - how many families would not get together to push out Anu for example, en masse, when she just marched in and took over the place? Cheeh!

For newbies who think Aryan is fantastic, think beyond the actor who you appear to think is handsome, and go by the character - who is very bad. Have you actually watched the awful and needless things he has done to Imlie?

Also, I thought Adi's acting in pain on the floor was just fine. Malini however was snarling like a wild-something-or-other! How typical she goes all the way to the newspaper office instead of hightailing it to PD to try and save the man who is supposed to be her husband! ( Mind you if NN or Meethi or the other villagers saw her then they would probably beat her to a pulp).

You know, at this point, it is high time either the actor or the PH put out an official statement about his leaving the show. They are being really unfair to the audience by keeping it all low brow like this.

I kind of disagree with you a little bit regarding Arylie. though, my heart goes out to Aryan here for being misunderstood and needlessly attacked by Imlie, I am able to relate to her.

I’ve watched this serial from the beginning and because of that I am actually cool with Imlie’s concern for Adi.

Imlie accepted Adi as her husband and as her one and only when Adi was at his peak of “hum mun ke the, hai aur hamesha rahenge.” He was a jerk to her that time. Just because Adi divorced her and got married to Malini, she is not going to be able to shut her heart to him. The two major influences in her life are Meethi and SK, and they both were in a Ek tarafa pyaar for 20 years. She grew up seeing that. And here, she knows without a doubt that only she is there in Adi’s heart though Malini is dominating his head.

She knows that it is immoral for her to love a married man now, because he is not her husband now, but she can’t turn a blind eye to Adi’s life being in danger.
Imlie is not aware of Aryan’s growing feelings for her, even Aryan is not aware of it. If Imlie has to see Aryan in romantic light, then it will be only after marriage. And that is why I always felt that Arylie will be married soon. Without marriage, for Imlie to fall in love with Aryan, they will need leaps and a very loooooooong love track. That is the character sketch of Imlie, she will not fall out of love or ignore Adi and move on to a better man. The makers have no patience to give a long drawn out love track, and for them TRP is mostly in after marriage love.
Arylie are going to clash on ideals and find middle ground too, Imlie will not realize when she will fall in love with Aryan, and when she does, her loyalty and love for Adi is going to be the biggest obstacle.

The way I see it, the parallel to Aryan-Imlie track is Meethi-SK, though Adi is not Dev, Imlie is the slandered “alone” woman, and like how SK was there to guide and help Meethi, Aryan is doing that. The beauty of it is going to be Aryan is not that righteous or sacrificial like SK, and Imlie knows unlike Meethi that Adi is now married to Malini and there is actually no use in waiting for him.

I could accept Aryan as Imlie's bossy big brother, but NEVER as her new pati. Totally wrong for her and she should not be made to swing straight from one husband to a new one. Let her live for several years as a single woman, complete her studies, get wealthier and stronger in her own right. She does not need any man until she herself is ready to choose one. Hopefully by that time Adi will have come to his senses and come back to her.

But I may have to wait for that as once there are no more sightings of GM as Adi I am quitting watching the serial, it is making me far too depressed.

@ bold that will happen in the real world. In fictional world, TRP aunties really don’t want to see the journey of a single woman, they are more inclined to watch the journey of a bahu.

Dont know how far this is true but if its the manasvi dude replacing gm i dont know what to say🥺🥺🥺🥺. Story ka kachra ho gaya already so can only hope for the best.

Agreed book with ur points about Imlie's character and Aryan being shrewed businessman character I don't want to see him becoming sacrificial goat waiting for Imlie for long 20yrs or so similar to SK likewise u said😊 I don't even think Gul keeps her FL single for such long time 😆

@bold: Well yes Aryan is really handsome without a doubt, but let me make it very clear, we don't like him just bcoz of his looks!

We love his character because:

• He is a very strong character.

• He is not an emotional fool and atleast behaves like a normal, logical and social being.

( For example today, he is the only one who did everything a normal person would do! Unlike other dim-witted ones who claim to be middle class and started arranging 100 crores 🤣, and how to forget our Mahaan Imlie whose atrangi brain stopped working after watching her ex-husband crawling in the ground like a snail.)

• Can you please list the awful things he did to imlie? Bcoz I am sure his awfulness must be 1000 times lesser than that of Aditya! 🤣

You may find him bad, but I don't bcoz he is the one who stood by imlie in tough times, and having been a great support to her. He is protecting her from someone who is actually spoiling her life! So i cannot dislike him and neither can I like AKT.

But please do not say that we just like his character bcoz he is handsome! No that's absolutely not true, as a GenX I would love to support a man who will let her fly as high as she wants, but always be there to hold her when she is about to fall.

Well I don't care abt Malini's existence . But GM 🤢. I don't know what happened to him. It's probably bcoz he is/was on a notice period so he must have thought, why to waste my talent here 🤪 and help them with TRP :/
