Yaa latest one was Baba Baba. My POV, Harshad also went horribly wrong with his delivery for two to three mins.

They have really screwed up Abhimanyu's part.

Abhimanyu's character is so crappily written that I can understand how HC's fans only continue to watch the show for him. But they cannot make up the entire viewership that is bringing in such high trps right? What exactly in the show is making it work do y'all think?

The dialogues are so uneven that it looks more like too many cooks spoiling the broth than a strong writing team delivering the goods. I think bhavna ji answered a question recently where she said she's not writing for yrkkh. Her focus is only anupama and another new show isss mode se jaate hain. Zama Habib's name has always been in the credits throughout the 13 years but I don't know that he has been connected in any way to the show for many years. I think his name appears only bcz the original concept at NAKSH time was his.

If HC is doing this role just for the commercial aspect then so be it. But to support and praise Abhimanyu bcz of HC is silly. The characters of both the leads is bullshit.The supporting characters, all except Neil are highly irritating, the story doesn't hold water. I don't know how the show runs only on so-called #abhira chemistry.

Actually HC’s character was supposed to be killed off and SSR was supposed to be made to be the ML. They even made HC turn into chicken tandoori and killed him off but the fangirls harassed EK and the writers so much they had to bring him back and later she made SSR male lead of Pavitra Rishta.

but she cut the budget of Kis Desh hence the cardboard moon 😭

(Additi is in Dhadkan Zindagi ki - watched a few episodes, I like her there. It's a totally different kind of show, much more restrained and character driven)

Yeah I've heard Dhadkan Zindagi Ki is very realistic and is about the medical profession with an ensemble cast. And the producer of that show is known for making some quality content in the past.

Blacklist matlab not seriously. It was just Ekta's silly way of keeping crazy fans at bay. She gave a public statement saying she won't cast Harshad & Aditi together or individually, since her inbox crashed due to fans wanting Harshad and Aditi together. People used to ship them like CRAZY. But she did offer him at least 2 shows in 2013-2015, but he didn't want to do them due to not liking the concept much. After a point in 2013, he's said in many interviews that he'll only take up a project if he likes the story or if he needs to run the kitchen 😆 Sensible and realistic.

Yes!! Dreamy is the word!

Prem was truly the personification of "Prem"

And some of his dialogues are just too good in that show. Though I only saw the show long after its original run on TV.

I was quite young when it aired. didnt watch the show long enough to make a comment on it as a whole but i was instantly awe-struck by prem and heer. For any actor to leave such a lasting impact with a role is no ordinary feat. Prem and Heer still has a fan-base for the couple. Both Harshad and Additi played the perfect pair!

They are the first of many iconic jodis that the ITV has delivered. ❤️

That's true. It was a fairy tale love story they portrayed - the lovers who are destined to be each other's despite all the challenges and difficulties

And yes, Prem and Heer cannot be forgotten! 😳 It's been 14 years now but as you rightly said, one of the old gold jodis of ITV!

And to think HC can still pull-off the role of a romantic male lead....each time to perfection. 🔥

Exactly!! It's only because of him that I'm watching this show.

He's really good with his work and also puts in so much effort. Lots of passion and dedication to improving his craft and discipline in exercising 👏👏👏

He's still dreamy even though he's lost weight. Like Prettywitty said, Dkp should give him snack breaks. And telecast from Monday to Friday only. Telecasting on Saturday too adds on to the work load of not only actors but writers too. The creative team may be able to do marginally better if they don't have to write everyday.
