So true! It is just that the two events (gift and her accusation) happen right after each other that it is very in the face. So the anger and irritation towards her only increases. I really really hope she makes up for this. I don't want it to be swept under the rug like the spear thing was.

Yes, Imlie is too afraid to acknowledge that she has started to develop feelings for ASR. Her expressions said it all... she need to be eased to this new and powerful feeling unfurling inside her.

But the man is too facing the same thing... you don't see him yelling at her. A simple 'thank you' would suffice.

She may not intend to hurt him but the person she is treating like a punching bag is human. He feels too. I wouldn't give her a free pass for her actions but I do see reason... and empathise with her after a few episodes instead of only sympathising with her

The intent was not wrong... but the impact was heartbreaking to see 🥺. I really hope she makes up for her actions well.

I find that problem with all the ITV shows that I have watched (Still in single digit though). It's the small things that maketh or breaketh the characters. It's kinda off-putting. Like a simple thank you..or sorry. And no my complains are not only with Imlie. Even though ASR was shown as arrogant from the start, I didn't warm upto him totally in the first few episodes. Felt him to be OTT. Or even basic mannerisms like knocking the door..or waiting before barging into a conversation.

Can you imagine if something happened to her. Sattyakam would break out of jail, kill aatank and AKT and then cry 😭

I know i want to see them bond too. It will be so cute! ASR and Sattyakam together on screen would be such a treat.

Totally agree, and especially about the love languages. For someone like Imlie, because of the type of love she has known, understanding or even grasping other ways to express that love just isn’t in her emotional briefcase yet.

Maybe I love Aryan so much is cause we may have the same love language lol

I really like how they're showing the differences in how these two express and communicate. There's room for growth, which will make the end result that much more satisfying.

We notice all the small thing Aryan does because well, they make a point to show us. But Imlie had a conversation with her Amma instead 🤣 This girl, seriously! She's so ridiculously cute.

What I understand is, she's idealised certain good characters of adi and she allows them to overshadow his bad side...

Which led to her been deep buried in this unhealthy relationship along with her social conditioning about marriage and pati parmeshwar concept.

Zero excuses for her behaviour and frankly I find it annoying. I’m just not as annoyed by it anymore. Maybe Libran has had such an effect on me lol But like I didn’t expect any more from her. The Imlie I thought I started watching this show for, I did, but the Imlie I’m beginning to see on my screen, not as much you know. So lower expectations (which I wish I didn’t have to have) means that I’m less annoyed when I see it play out.

Plus this week I don’t have the emotional and mental capacity to give her nonsense lol

I’ve also just resigned myself to the fact that my heart is just always going to hurt for Aryan. Bechara doesn’t deserve this. But I’ll continue hoping he gets the love and affection he deserves.

Exactly! The thing is... which is exactly what I told charishma seconds a go was that the accusation came right after the gift scene. That made her thanklessness very in the face for me.

😆 I think a lot of us have run out of the strength to give her shit very quickly... the nonsense will take another week to end.

The thing is I know that too... like I said... EVERYDAY my heart breaks for him... but he deserves so so so much better it is so sad to see him go through this.
