Not exactly JWM. More like exasperated Aryan letting go of Imlie cuz she is on repeat mode that she knows what's best for herself. I don't think Aryan would ever think of Aditya as goodie goodie or even Bandha teek hai cuz that entire clan is a joke to him. Aryan would be scared of losing control and it would be hard for him to accept that he is in love. But more than the romantic angle, I want Imlie to accept that Aryan is more than just a boss or mentor, I want them to progress to friendship stage like Aditya and Geet in Jab we met. Then maybe when Aryan lets go, Imlie would not want to lose a friend.

Also, he referred AKT as Imlie's aadat n not her lost love or anything else. Somewhere, he also got that major part of her constant BBSB jaap comes from it.

I really want Aryan and Imlie to progress naturally and without any forced marriage crap.

I was thinking about what I know to be true so far:

- Imlie doesn't love Aditya. She "believes" in that marriage. She will run back to him if she believes her Sita Maiya wants it.

- She's really starting to fall hard for Aryan. She trusts Aryan. But her trust in him and self-confidence will have to go hand in hand. If her trust is shattered while she still has low self-opinion, she will momentarily forget all the ways in which he has shown genuine care and love.

- The text message: Earlier I was thinking from an AryLie lens, which makes it such a dud because he was only trying to help. The real power in the message for Imlie will be that Aditya wanted to get back with her. That he wanted to kick Malini out. That's all Imlie's wanted since separation - Malini gone.

- Aryan's so-called revenge is the biggest dud 😂. The man doesn't seem capable of hurting a fly. So the only impact it'll have is on AryLie's equation. Confident Imlie will seek to help Aru right away comfortable with her place in his life and heart. Insecure Imlie will doubt herself and him at first, but she'll arrive at the same place.

So, at the end of the dance when Aryan and Imlie are standing with their hands intertwined, Aru is the first one to let go and Imlie realizes much later how tightly she is holding on to him.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with friends "label" for them... Because that essentially allows the possibility of Imlie friend-zoning him, and i was glad when Aryan balked last time she said friends...

The basic diff is that Aryan has strong hate feelings for Aditya here which was absent in the parallel we're using. So as u said he'd never take her back.... Agree with it.

Also in serial verse there's loads of factors like guilt tripping / insaniyat / true-oraganic love yada yada to take her back to her past !!!

Imlie should've apologized.. He made him bleed n Didn't utter a single word regarding this.. Everyone was thanking n praising but couldn't say a single sorry.. How many times aru stated that he doesn't want to hurt her but in return hurt him.. Physically n emotionally.. Today i really felt like he behaving exactly like AKT

Aru is my "Deserve better character"😟
