Ah, I just made a post about how she was missing the point in that scene but I needed to watch it again. But that’s it. He has no one to share his pain with, like she told him that when he’s in pain he can take someone’s hand but yet doesn’t see that he’s essentially a loner. He has his mother and sister but he can’t share his pain with them - he wants to be strong for them (even though they don’t expect that of him), he’s got no one. The one person he had is gone, and that’s why he’s so bent on avenging his death.

1) Mental Health issue ki maa behen karke rakhi huyi hain inn makers ne.

Matlab kuch bhi? I have mentioned this is my previous post that PTSD, and many other psychiatric disorders are not a joke and requires lots of therapy and medication.

Showing that one woman who thinks she can just distract someone who reliving the trauma is not how to get rid of the underlying issue. This is sending a very very bad message to the audience and they are literally mocking the people who on a daily basis suffer through mental health issues and also mocking the medical profession.

Sorry guys for the rant but it was just plain horrible to watch. So much more about this whole scenario that I want to say but I am sure you all have probably said it all by now.

Also, the doctor comes in and checks BP and says "Arpita ne apna phobia khatam kar diya" WHAATTTT? - Kaun likh raha hain aise dialogues bey?

To top it all off Meethi telling Imlie how much AKT was talking/thinking about her in his sleep just added the ghee to the Jijaji se pyaar wala fire 🔥🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢.

Here we were so proud of her when she called AKT Raavan and then she goes ahead and does this🤦‍♀️. Sheesh, woman get your and your daughter's minds on the right path.

What are the makers thinking with this track? Ppl showing concern to a certain extent makes sense but this is just plain disgusting in my opinion. WHHHYYYY production walo why?

4) On a side note something positive from Imlie:

If only you had done some first-aid on him today then I wouldn't want to throw all the shoes I own on you. Seriously sab bechare ko bhul gaye 😭 and that's why he went to cry in the storeroom 😭. Also, someone give him a tetanus shot.

So during their touchy feely conversation and when Aru said sorry to her, she was actually hoping to hear something else but got disappointed 🤔(hmmm maybe somthin smthin happnin with Imlie😏😉).

Lekin jab tak yeh pagal aurat uss jijaji ke baare mein sochna nahi chodti tab tak yeh ladki Aru ke baare main aage kabhi nahi sochegi aur mujhse rooz chaple khayegii.

5) SHIP: it was a weird episode tbh. The ship looks like it's in danger from the Jija-saali romance and Aru's future sadness and hurt that he will get from Imlie. 😭

Oh definitely not going to watch again tonight. I’m going to go watch all the videos Ritzi posted lol Maybe at a later date when I’m not so annoyed with the show.

But yeah, that internal and external pain - I don’t know. I don’t think she sees it that well either. She’s too lost in her own pain most of the time.

They’re the balm for the others pain but the thing is - I think she’s not going to be there to be that balm for him when he really needs it - be it internal or external. Him on the other than, he’s not conflicted. Even if he doesn’t admit his love for her, she’s his, whatever that means to him. He’s going to be there to catch her, to soothe her pains (you know as long as they’re not on the clock 😂). Now I’m losing my train of thought. I should stop.

That doctor though, that’s where I absolutely lost it. Everyone else is a little brainless, but then they throw the doctor in the mix as well. When she said that line about being cured I’m like WTH?! How you tell that from one quick physical exam/taking the woman’s blood pressure?! Even if she was able to overcome it today doesn’t mean she’s cured 🤦🏽‍♀️

Like I know we shouldn’t have high expectations of ITV (although I still maintain why not?! but digress), but this is part of the problem. Mental health is such an issue, and yes there’s been progress made in fighting the stigma around mental health within South Asian communities but there’s still a long way to go, and garbage like this doesn’t help that cause. Like you don’t want to take on serious issues? Cool, at the very least though, DO NOT trivialize them and make it worse. Stay away from them completely.
