Honestly, I really feel that Meethi has more of a soft spot for Adi than even Imlie does - from the start. Meethi ne humesha is mamle main Adi ko benefit of doubt diya - be it when they found out the truth or making Imlie understand that Adi was not the one to hold her back, when Imlie assumed that men hold women back from progress. See that is the funny bit, despite not knowing anything, Mitthi could still understand and sympathize with Adi's pain, while Aparna being Adi's own mother and seeing him in pain and knowing that he is marrying Malini out of anger and spite, did nothing to stop the wedding (I do not consider her talking to all 3 characters involved as actively stopping the wedding, all that was only token level effort). Matlab jo maa apne bete ko ek room main lock kar sakti hai, so that he doesn't dance with Imlie - but she could not do anything to stop her son from making the biggest mistake of his life - oh well

On the bomb thing - I had a similar thought in my head that they may go down that route, but honesty right now I am game for anything to end this torture.

+1 Aps...Amma-Adi bond is so pyaara❤️...and the real maa-beta bond of the show to be honest.........Adi-Aparna have had their moments...but the moments of understanding have always seemed so fleeting after which Aparna reverts back to the usual comfort zone of never looking beyond the surface..........Adi-Meethi have had some of the best scenes in the show that depict the base of their bond build on that mutual understanding and respect...like when Meethi described to him how Imlie is a kamal amidst all the keechad...or when Adi told her that she doesn't need to go through life alone and to finally let SK in in that presscon call...........apart from SK, I think Meethi has really only been able to talk freely about her arduous 20 year old struggle with Adi....also in a way I think the immense love and admiration they both have for Imlie is something they actually bond over.............but that bond does go beyond Imlie and even Imlie herself can't break it like we saw today...and you're bang on ki Meethi has always been more understanding and empathetic wrt Adi, and even advocated for him.........Raitha ji even I found that question from Adi ki aap humse nafrat nahi karti so maasoom and endearing...but also broke my heart cuz ab Adi ka baseline expectation is just to be berated and hated by everyone around him🥺
