you know for a couple of days i have been rewatching tvd from s3 and watched s4 also as i missed some episodes due to work and i cant just help but hate damon i dont know why the delena hookup scene in s4 made me so mad as both of them had no sympathy for stefan's feelings like dude he's your brother at least care

its funny i started this show being damon obsessed and i would have been that way if i had seen damon being better towards stefan or being better as a person but sadly i didnt see it and this hatred grew in s5

i started loving him again from s6

i am sure writers were high on something when they said "damon is the better man" and when they made stefan say it if i was paul wesley i would have rioted on set but not say that line it was ridiculous that a guy who's been better for a few episodes can compete with a guy who's been better for 8 seasons

and on my rewatch i have completely turned into a stelena shipper as i couldnt digest the way delena got together elena still apologized but damon nah nothing and elena didnt turn damon into a better person damon was still the same and only pretending to be good so that elena stayed with him even klaus told him this and he didnt refuse .. what pissed me off was when stefan was suffering due to silas and elena was worried about him damon kept on referring to stefan as "elena's ex boyfriend" as was feeling insecure that she was having dreams about stefan instead of being worried about his brother

if i was stefan i would have asked damon and his selfish ass to rot in hell and leave him behind and live my own life but stefan being stefan never gave up on damon and even when damon tried to kill jeremy again he went to find him and help him

stefan has killed but he finally got redemption when he died but damon sure as hell didnt deserve his happy ending after killing countless people,abusing,terrorizing and enjoying it,never even apologizing for anything he did and still getting forgiveness handed over to him sucks big time

and nope i am not gonna sympathize with him just because he's broken almost everyone in this show is broken elena,bonnie,stefan,katherine,matt,jeremy,klaus,katherine it doesnt make damon different

i would have still loved damon more if i had actually seen a redemption arc instead of just seeing others forgiving him even without him apologizing thats not redemption thats excuses and bad storytelling stefan died,klaus died,elijah died why does damon get to live his life after destroying and hurting so many

and elena didnt turn damon into a better person "being good only when you have the girl and killing her friend and brother the moment you break up" is not the definition of a good person

i felt damon changed elena into a worse person when she was human she didnt take his shit she stopped him that went down the drain after delena happened her character went down the drain she had no morals and no character of her own

she was bad in s4 and s5..s6 she became good again s6 is the only season i like delena but still its nothing compared to stelena thats pure love and its superior i dont even know why i shipped delena earlier maybe even i like others was too blinded by damon's looks and i was plus their chemistry was so hot but even then i was convinced stefan was better that was never my doubt

i am not even a person who think it was bad for damon for wanting his brother's girl the show was built in the love triangle and i dont believe that he stole her from stefan as elena chose him but the way they got together was horrible at least have some feelings for stefan think about him that he may be hurt let him heal from the breakup and sit with him and talk to him directly not sleep with each other a day after stelena broke up..i am not heartless to say go delena after that and the fact damon could do that to his own brother after him leaving to save his life is something i couldnt overlook

difference when katherine was in elena's body she wanted stefan and kissed him and stefan was giving in to the kisses but he stopped himself said that you just broke up with damon and i cant do that to him thats how you respect your brother's feelings

Elena should have done what Draupadi did and called it a day😆
