Adi ka jhalli was so spontaneous with jhalli being jhalli singing "humre piya gaye pagdandiyaaa"😆..and he was amused with all her jhalli harkatein even though usko pareshaan kiya with tyre puncture and all😆...also he took shehri langoor in stride ki of course jhalli hi aise naam de sakti hai😆

just was reading an article which had the line "The most dangerous thing a story can do is alienate the audience from the protagonist."😆 kya timing hai😆

just took me back to what AY said just after the Diwali epis that the conscience of the show has always been tied to Imlie...aur jab uss base ko hila doh toh story hi hil jaati hai...like how the current "storyline" is recording like a 7 on the richter scale😆

Loll I think we all discussed some variation of this before also when we said that Imlie is the conscience of this show and once you lose that conscience, the story is lost too 🤷‍♀️

I’m seeing people going through various stages of disconnect from Imlie currently. Some of us got there earlier, some will get there later….but I think the disconnect will set in in some form for everyone sooner or later. I trust the trash levels of the writing to ensure that 😆 even though people will claim for a bit that Arylie are great and “refreshing” now 😆

People will have various reasons for continuing to deny that Imlie’s conscience was tied to her belief system vis a vis her connect with Adi. Negating all of that just for the sake of a token and forced “naya safar”, that too with an abusive bully like Aryan is a mirage that the makers are pushing. Only time will reveal the full impact of what they’ve diluted 🤷‍♀️…..Imlie is not a regular ITV FL jispe yeh sab random partner switching can be easily sold. She is definitely no Prerna either 😆

I think once snow said Adhithya’s character was carefully written. I feel the writing was up to only JM episodes. After that they slightly reduced it. Even though we connected to Adhi via GM.

From starting they take effort to justify each action of Adhithya .

The conversation in bus after bidaai of Adilie … mostly seems to be harsh … but convo started by Adhi by seeing imlie crying…

But recent few episodes if Adhi have no convo they use others to show Adhi’s faults . Almost every scene of Malini is like that .

Nish Rupi convos to Adhi were Rupi have to point out imlies difficulties in seeing Malini with you .

They purposefully use all this scenes to demean Adhi.

They purposefully alienate a large set audience from both Adhi & imlie I think.

In September in one of MD ‘s iv she said “makers almost completed story in 200 .. which was to be tell in 500 … so large deviation from IK … and they drag story …” what we seen today has started earlier from September itself.

AY’s word regarding imlie .. I also remember.

They diluted both Adhithya & imlie.

First scene with Aryan itself there was a change in meter for imlie.

Then also in multiple stages I feel Aryan’s story will connect to current issues of Adilie .

They give hope by “ my eyes may betrayed me “dialogue from Adhithya . And also the hug scene of Arylie … on that scene when i kept hope actually AY mocked me. 🤣

haha just wrote about the conscience bit in my edit😊...but it's true matlab uss episode ko dekh kar main itni hil gayi...I was in too much sadma for a few days to even come to the forum😆

and bold is so so true...this show has run from the beginning on Imlie's atal vishwaas which ran on a deep faith that is hardly portrayed like this...that's why audience connected to Imlie in a big way I think...also the sort of tag-teaming in upholding the vishwaas in their rishta and that unwavering sense of saath is why audience connected to Adi-Imlie...yeh kissa epi 12 se start hota hai...it's definitely not that PD3 ke baad log unke hormonal sapne lekar aaye to watch the show as SM waalon would like to believe🤔

Imlie's steadfastness in her belief in their rishta and her devotion to Adi had such a quiet strength and dignity to it even when Adi had not yet realised his love for her...which is why that bike conversation and the ensuing bus conversation before PD3 for me was the true display of Imlie standing for her aatma sammaan and her ideals that day...unlike now jab Imlie comes off as so khokhli even though she keeps mouthing lines about self-respect and strength and what not ever other scene🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Another funny thing is reading Birdie Bhakts justifying ki GM ki demands must have been genuinely unreasonable, that is why PH didn't agree and "show must go on".....lol

Achha chalo maan bhi liya for argument's sake....so you take out your grudge on an actor against the CHARACTER that was one of the main anchors of the story? lol ismein kya sense hai bhai? If you really cared for the STORY beyond whoever plays one character, you'd stay true to the story.....but here, clearly the story, the original essence never mattered to you if you were willing to debase it so much simply to retaliate against one actor.....lol

I honestly don't want to get into all this speculation but reading logon ke lame excuses makes me rant sometimes.....lol

There are fans clearly still hurting over the way Imlie is also being denigrated in the need to prop up a cheap new pairing but when those fans point out something, Birdie Bhakts aage se aake lecture dete hain about how the show has to go on and it's all GM's fault that the show is going ahead in such a contrived way😕😆......lol yahaan bhi GM hi bhagwaan hai? 🤣. Bhai aren't the writers the original Gods of a story? Khud pe itna bhi confidence nahin ki GM ke jaane se aage ka kuch dhang ka soch bhi nahin sakte?😆

LOL I can't tell you how blissful it was those few months before PD3😆....social media was dead for this show and it flew so nicely under the radar😆.....even though I also officially managed to get into the show in Jan only, but that still had about a 1.5 month gap from PD3 and I got a sense of the woh pre-PD3 fandom then....lol their scenes were so under-rated and still used to pack so much punch for me atleast....tab bhi hum bahut kam log the savoring that essence cuz most others were busy crying about Adi not realizing his feelings for Imlie after PD2 goli/ambulance drama😆....so tab woh zone of bashing chal raha tha and itna social media masala nahin tha.....lol

PD3 ofcourse got people swooning on another level toh phir wohi baseline banaa diya sabne😆. But people forget all the noteworthy scenes that came before PD3 - the chappal scene in the hospital, the trophy scene, the gifting of the shagun wala sikka, Adi ki emotional thank you speech remembering Imlie, the LEAP wala rescue at the bridge😆, the V-day gift (LOL), the first official bike ride with rain included, the first room pravesh, the first rendition of Powerful Imaliya....all these subtle moments that were shaping up their journey even before his realization....uski bahut kam logon ko value hai cuz PD3 se sab "official" ho gaya once he got clarity about his love for Imlie....lol usse pehle wala Adi was still jerk to everyone cuz he gave moments like woh bike confrontation or blaming Imlie for that savitri vrat fiasco.....lol aaj tak it doesn't seem like people value the nuances and the layered angst of those scenes.....romance chahiye tha - woh PD3 ki brief window mein milke khatam ho gaya.....lol waise toh I find the fixation on PD3 also funny cuz again people forget that us waqt bhi 60% of the epi used to Malini ka rona dhona and bechaargi rants only.....mujhe pata hai kaise edit kar kar ke piece together kiye hain maine Adilie scenes from those epis😆. There was never a window where makers actually let Adilie have their sanctity by themselves - humesha kisi aur ka dukh/dard zyada prop up karna hota tha.....lol but they still used to shine as the emotional anchors of the story for me even then.
