Abhay Deepika - Potato Potahto?

I have always mentioned that Abhay and Deepika are more similar in ways than at surface level and today one more similarity crops up - their so called "Cheating"

I loved the conversation between Deepika and Sia - Deepika was back to "old" Deepika mode where she was rational, neutral and non-judgmental. While she empathized with Sia, she didn't outright call Abhay a "cheater" (A word Sia is overusing and can easily be misinterpreted without full context) as she doesn't know "his" story! This is soo true in relationships, we tend to pick sides without knowing the other person's story which I am glad Deepika didn't. Also what came to the surface is, how beautifully balanced we can be for others but lose it all when it comes to us - Deepika is a classic representation of that! But going by the precap, its slowly hitting her as well!

Coming to my topic today, I don't think Abhay and Deepika are in very different boats. They are in a similar puddle and reacting to it very similarly. Hence with his whole world deeming Abhay a "cheater", its only Deepika who can truly understand "his story" - his inclinations, his reasons, his apology....why? Cuz its just a reflection of everything she is committing as well.

Beautiful parallels creative team!!

Yes, Abhay and Deepika being parallels of each other is not a coincidence. The sound of a dhadkan is two beats, "dhak-dhak", therefore, our "Dhadkan" show is incomplete without both beats - our Deepika and Abhay.

Well said, it s so easy when we are in the third party to a problem, but when it comes to us we loose that, and strat taking emotional decisions, but they way Deepika has been portrayed I think she will soon come to realisation and do the right thing even by herself.
