Because Sa🏃 are not exactly friends.They are more like mentor-mentee.

Sanju has always been closed off but she considers Karan as mentor who helped her achieve her dream.

Love is private for her. She somewhat admitted it to Monami but wahan bhi pura nahi.

Kundan toh whole time had an expression of not giving a damn.He deserves all the beatings.

One more scene I liked was how Sanju was trying to keep a happy face in front of Karan and then all pain & frustration came boiling out ,with the way she threw the ball.

Karan was also good in the way he understood and guided her.Told her he would help ,she just needs to ask.
