Life after covid has become very frustrating.

Especially at work place. People don't mask up properly (if they ever wear masks), show up for work even if they are sick.

You worry more for ageing parents with comorbidities. :(

Your friends don't understand you when you say you don't want to go to crowded markets right now.

Will life ever be the same again?

Every time I finish work I go home convinced I have Covid because we are seeing so many covid patients. This is always a bit terrifying because my mother lives with me and I don't want her to get sick.

Last week we were seeing the younger vaccinated and well cohort, this week we are seeing their crumblier and sicker grandparents for some of whom this will be a terminal event.

We are also again seeing the unvaccinated younger patients who are so much sicker than their unvaccinated counterparts that I now think that anyone who is unvaccinated has a death wish.

This is the most worrisome and stresses me out.

Have you even once been positive in these two years of pandemic?

Well yes. I get to sleep in extra 30 minutes every morning. I shower, get dressed and leave for work. No need to spend time wearing make up or doing my hair or trying to match my outfit with my makeup or earrings or whatever. I am living my best slob life. It’s liberating

I have been living this life for the last two years and I am a bit over it .

We are now being asked to have our meal breaks by ourselves away from other staff members and not in the tea room and slowly all these things start affecting your morale.

I am beginning to feel like a whiny grouch now😆

Do you have to wear PPE kits the whole day taking care of patients at the public hospitals in Sydney? How do you even breathe in that? I mean you gotta go to eat, to the loo, to breathe right? Also around how many positive patients are you encountering on a daily basis?
